【摘要】:语言是随着时代的进步和不同需求而发展变化的。语言教学由最初的语法教学过渡到阅读和语篇分析。我国教育部制定的《大学英语课程教学要求》的目的是培养学生的英语综合运用能力。为满足社会对应用型人才的要求,我们尝试利用大学英语课传授专业知识。主题式内容教学模式是把某学科的专业知识与语言学习融合在一起。语言教学不再是单纯讲解语言知识,而是将语言作为一种媒介,通过学习专业知识和主题内容学会目标语。由于所学内容与学生的专业相关,因此,此教学方法可以提高学生的学习兴趣,增加课堂的参与度,提高整体语言水平和语言综合运用能力。本研究把主题式内容教学运用到大学英语实际教学中,通过围绕与其专业相关的主题设置话题,再把话题分解成小任务,要求学生在课后独立查阅资料,课上进行讨论,交流信息,交流意见,最后整理运用资料,达到锻炼听、说、读、写能力的目的。这一过程符合“语言是用会的”这一理念。本文主要研究两个问题,第一,相比于传统的教学方法,主题式内容教学是否能够更有效地提高学生的英语学习效率;第二,主题式内容教学能够提高学生英语学习的兴趣,转变对英语学习的态度。实验对象为黑龙江科技大学2013级市场营销专业学生。研究的实施过程是,在实验班经过一个学期的主题式内容教学后,通过能力测试、问卷调查及访谈与普通班进行对比,结果表明实验班学生的学习成绩、学习兴趣、学习态度要比普通班进步明显。实验由此证明主题式内容教学模式的教学效果优于传统的教学模式。在实验过程中出现了一些现象,在文中提出了改进意见与措施。

The experiment proves that improved the teaching model of thematic teaching effect is better than that of the traditional teaching mode in the course of the experiment.
