西方福利制度下新西兰华人新移民家庭的代际期待与伦理文化冲突

【摘要】：本文以新西兰华人新移民家庭为案例,通过对其移民经历和家庭代际关系的分析,探讨西方福利体制框架下移民家庭的代际期待、代际互惠模式,以及家庭赡养观念的转变。研究发现,由于中国伦理文化与西方福利制度之间存在价值冲突,尽管新移民家庭在迁移意愿和迁移轨迹上呈现出明显的家庭伦理逻辑,但在移民后普遍遭遇代际关系冲突和家庭赡养观念的调整,反映出移民家庭隐性的文化传统在显性的制度环境中的策略性妥协。反思中国伦理思维与西方社会福利思维的差异,不仅有助于理解海外华人移民家庭的代际关系,也为政府相关部门和社会机构摸索更好的家庭服务模式提供政策参考和实践依据。
[Abstract]:This paper takes the new immigrant families of New Zealand Chinese as an example, through the analysis of their immigration experience and family intergenerational relationship, discusses the intergenerational expectation, intergenerational reciprocity model and the change of the concept of family support under the framework of western welfare system. It is found that, because of the value conflict between Chinese ethical culture and western welfare system, new immigrant families have obvious family ethical logic in terms of their intention and track of migration. However, the conflict of intergenerational relationship and the adjustment of the concept of family support after emigration generally reflect the strategic compromise of the recessive cultural tradition of immigrant family in the dominant institutional environment. Reflecting on the differences between Chinese ethical thinking and western social welfare thinking is not only helpful to understand the intergenerational relationship of overseas Chinese immigrant families, It also provides policy reference and practical basis for government departments and social institutions to explore better family service model.
