公共品供给、集聚经济与城市增长

【摘要】：公共品供给和集聚经济是影响城市增长的两个重要因素。理论部分论证了公共品供给规模和集聚经济水平的提高有助于城市增长向集约模式发展,利用1999—2011年我国246个城市的面板数据验证理论部分的命题。结果表明:我国的城市空间增长得益于公共品供给规模和集聚经济效应的增加,但具有区域差异性和城市规模差异性;集聚经济对城市增长的影响效应呈倒U型曲线关系,这说明城市增长模式正发生分化。因此,政府应采取积极措施发展集聚经济,对公共品供给优化配置,实现区域内城市增长的辐射与联动效应。
[Abstract]:Public goods supply and agglomeration economy are two important factors influencing urban growth. The theoretical part demonstrates that the improvement of public goods supply scale and agglomeration economic level is helpful to the development of urban growth to intensive mode, and verifies the proposition of theoretical part by panel data of 246 cities in China from 1999 to 2011. The results show that the urban spatial growth in China benefits from the increase of public goods supply scale and agglomeration economic effect, but has regional differences and urban scale differences, and the effect of agglomeration economy on urban growth is inversely U-shaped. This shows that the urban growth model is diverging. Therefore, the government should take active measures to develop agglomeration economy, optimize the allocation of public goods supply, and realize the radiation and linkage effect of urban growth in the region.
