域内政府竞争程度与公共品供给

【摘要】：地市级政府的晋升竞争在本省内进行,各省竞争程度的不同影响着公共品供给。文章运用数理模型分析了省级"竞争域"的政府竞争程度对省内各地市级政府经济型和民生型公共品供给的影响,并使用省内各地级市经济增长率的变异系数倒数来度量各省的政府竞争程度,然后基于地级市的动态面板数据进行了实证检验,回归结果验证了数理模型推导的命题:政府竞争程度的增加提高了经济型公共品的供给量,而对民生型公共品供给的影响是不确定的。
[Abstract]:The promotion competition of the municipal government is carried out in the province, and the competition degree of each province influences the supply of public goods. The paper uses the mathematical model to analyze the influence of the government competition degree of the provincial "competitive domain" on the economic and people's livelihood-type public goods supply of the municipal governments around the province, and uses the reciprocal of the coefficient of variation of the economic growth rate of all prefecture-level cities in the province to measure the degree of government competition in the provinces. Then the empirical test is carried out on the basis of the dynamic panel data of the prefecture-level city, and the result of the regression verifies the proposition that the mathematical model is derived: the increase of the degree of competition of the government increases the supply amount of the economic public goods, and the influence on the supply of the public goods of the people's livelihood is uncertain.
