形式聚焦对高中生英语定语从句习得的影响实证研究

语法学习是二语习得的重要组成部分。传统的语法教学侧重于教师对语法规则的讲解以及机械的操练,学生很难真正理解和运用。自二十世纪九十年代,Long提出了形式聚焦(Focus on Form)的教学理论以来,形式聚焦作为一种新的语言教学理念,已成为近几年研究的一个热门话题。目前,有关形式聚焦教学的研究大多是针对二语教学的,而外语教学中相关的研究比较有限,且少有研究探讨其对中国高中学生语法习得的影响。本研究选取定语从句作为研究项目,试图探讨形式聚焦在高中语法教学中的效果。本研究基于互动假说、注意假说以及输入加工理论,旨在回答以下两个问题:1)形式聚焦教学对高中生定语从句的理解有何影响?2)形式聚焦教学对高中生定语从句的书面输出有何影响?该研究以湖南省武冈一中95名高一年级学生作为受试对象,对其进行为期四周的实验。研究工具主要采用语法测试(含前后测),对收集的数据主要运用SPSS进行分析。研究发现:1)教学试验后,两个班在定语从句的理解方面都有很大的提高,但实验班的学生进步更大,与控制班的差异较显著,尤其体现在对定语从句的识别方面;2)在定语从句输出上,实验班和控制班的学生也有很大进步,尽管实验...
