技术运用与远程教育:信息与通讯技术在教、学及管理中有效运用的原理之探讨

【摘要】:对于在远程教育中提倡更广泛地使用信息与通讯技术的人士,他们往往忽视了考虑现代技术在教、学及管理中运用所面临的特殊挑战。为了帮助人们分析如何在远程教育中恰当地应用现代技术,本文作者提出了技术运用的四条基本原理:避免偏见、洞察谬论、寻求平衡、独立与互动。首先,我们必须避免偏见,尤其是技术经销商为了商业利润而提出的“技术改进一切”的观点。其次,我们要洞察谬误,以批判的眼光去看问题,而不是被某些流行的观点所误导。第三,我们应该对技术有全面的认识,在教育中寻求现代技术与人的运用之间的平衡;第四,我们应将学习活动看作是独立与互动的结合。英国开放大学是应用这些原则的成功典范。
[Abstract]:For those who advocate wider use of ICT in distance education, they tend to overlook the particular challenges faced by the use of modern technology in teaching, learning and management. In order to help people analyze how to apply modern technology properly in distance education, the author puts forward four basic principles of technology application: avoiding prejudice, insight into fallacy, seeking balance, independence and interaction. First of all, we must avoid prejudice, especially the idea of "technology improving everything" proposed by technology dealers for commercial profit. Second, we need to look at fallacies critically rather than being misled by popular views. Third, we should have a comprehensive understanding of technology and seek a balance between modern technology and the use of human beings in education; fourth, we should regard learning activities as a combination of independence and interaction. The British Open University is a successful example of the application of these principles.
