如何迎接专业认证——对美国伍斯特理工学院认证历程的考察

【摘要】：随着我国中入《华盛顿协议》,我们工程教育认证对工程教育质量保证的实际有效性引起了人们的关注。囿于诸多因素的制约,专业认证在促进专业建设和改进方面的效果尚不明显,甚至出现了"要求的高标准——实际的低水平——结果的高通过率"的尴尬局面。高校及其专业如何顺势而为,把认证与专业建设和改进有机结合,从而达到保证教育质量的目的?通过对美国伍斯特理工学院应对ABET的三次认证历程的考察发现:坚持规划在本科教育中的统领作用,将工程教育认证标准贯穿于专业教育的全过程,注重项目驱动的课程体系建设,充分利用外部评估的数据为专业建设所用,等等,是伍斯特带给我们的启示。
[Abstract]:With China's entry into the Washington Agreement, the effectiveness of engineering education certification in engineering education quality assurance has attracted people's attention. Due to the restriction of many factors, the effect of professional certification in promoting professional construction and improvement is not obvious, and even there is an awkward situation of "demanding high standard-actual low level-high pass rate of result". How can colleges and their specialties adapt to the trend and combine certification with professional construction and improvement so as to ensure the quality of education? Through the investigation of the three certification processes of ABET in Wooster Institute of Technology, it is found that: insist on the leading role of planning in undergraduate education, and run through the whole process of professional education with the certification standard of engineering education. It is the inspiration of Worcester to pay attention to the construction of project-driven curriculum system and make full use of external evaluation data for professional construction.
