中国近代教会大学参与乡村教育研究

【摘要】:在中国近代教育史上,教会大学作为中国近代高等教育的滥觞,它对中国近代高等教育乃至整个社会的发展都产生了深远的影响。然而,教会大学的发展却经历了一个曲折的过程。特别是在民国成立以来,带有浓厚宗教色彩的教会大学受到了诸多内外因素的影响,自身发展面临着巨大的困境。为了走出发展的羁绊,近代教会大学不断实行“本土化”、“中国化”。在诸多路径中,教会大学参与乡村教育是其重要的措施之一。无论是在校内还是在校外,教会大学本着“服务中华”的原则,广泛地开展乡村教育。通过努力,教会大学不仅获得了民众的同情和认可,也在一定程度上促进了自身的发展。因此,本文拟对近代教会大学参与乡村教育的历史做一些初步性的探究,以期对当前的农村教育以及高等教育的发展提供一些参考。 基于以上的分析,本文的第一部分从内因和外因两个方面探讨了教会大学参与乡村教育的原因。教会大学参与乡村教育不仅有内在的原因,也有外在因素的束缚,教会大学参与乡村教育是内外因素共同作用的结果。 第二部分较为详细地回顾了教会大学在校内的乡村教育。具体来讲,这一部分分别从乡村教育的课程设置、教师队伍建设、学术研究、系科创设、加强与其他团体或机构合作这五个方面来加以论述,完整地呈现了当时教会大学在校内开展乡村教育的概况。 第三部分是在第二部分的基础上,具体地论述了教会大学在校外所开展的乡村教育。教会大学在校外主要通过设置试验区、创办各种学校、成立服务机构和团体等措施来开展乡村教育,这是本部分论述的重点。 第四部分则分析了教会大学参与乡村教育的历史特点,教会大学所开展的乡村教育既有着其他团体或机构开展乡村教育所共有的特点,也有着自身特殊性。因此,有必要就教会大学参与乡村教育的特点作进一步分析。 第五部分是笔者所作出的一些思考,教会大学在开展乡村教育乡村教育的过程中以教育为依托,以试验区为起点,步步递进,全方位开展乡村教育。最为重要的是教会大学特别注重妇女和儿童教育,在当时具有极大的进步意义。诚然教会大学开展乡村教育也带有浓厚的宗教色彩,这是其本身落后与保守的一面。 最后,是本文的结语部分.
[Abstract]:In the history of Chinese modern education, church universities, as the origin of Chinese modern higher education, have a profound influence on the development of Chinese modern higher education and even the whole society. However, the development of church universities has experienced a tortuous process. Especially since the founding of the Republic of China, the church universities with strong religious color have been influenced by many internal and external factors, and their own development is facing great difficulties. In order to get rid of the fetters of development, the modern church universities carried out "localization" and "Sinicization". In many ways, the participation of church universities in rural education is one of its important measures. Both in and out of school, the church university, in line with the principle of "serving China", widely carry out rural education. Through hard work, the church university not only gained sympathy and recognition from the people, but also promoted its own development to a certain extent. Therefore, this paper intends to do some preliminary research on the history of modern church universities' participation in rural education, in order to provide some references for the current rural education and the development of higher education. Based on the above analysis, the first part of this paper discusses the causes of the participation of church universities in rural education from the internal and external causes. The participation of church universities in rural education has not only internal reasons but also external factors. The participation of church universities in rural education is the result of both internal and external factors. The second part reviews the rural education of church universities in detail. Specifically, this part is discussed from the following five aspects: curriculum setting of rural education, teacher team building, academic research, establishment of departments and strengthening cooperation with other organizations or institutions. At that time, the church university carried out rural education at that time. On the basis of the second part, the third part discusses the rural education carried out by the church university. The ecclesiastical universities mainly develop rural education by setting up experimental areas, setting up various schools, setting up service organizations and groups, which is the key point of this part. The fourth part analyzes the historical characteristics of the participation of the church university in rural education. The rural education carried out by the church university has the common characteristics of other organizations or institutions to carry out rural education, but also has its own particularity. Therefore, it is necessary to further analyze the characteristics of the participation of church universities in rural education. The fifth part is some thoughts made by the author. In the process of carrying out rural education, the church universities take education as the basis, take the experimental area as the starting point, step by step, and carry out all-round rural education. Most important of all, church universities paid special attention to women's and children's education, which made great progress at that time. It is true that the rural education carried out by the church universities also has a strong religious color, which is its own backward and conservative side. Finally, the conclusion of this paper.
