幼儿英语浸入式教师的教学策略研究

【摘要】:当代社会,英语的重要性已被越来越多的学校和家长认可。我们正处于信息化的时代,各国之间的文化交流日趋频繁,语言是人们交际和思维的工具,如果没有掌握相应的语言,就意味着个人天地的局限,英语是世界上使用最广泛的语言,因此,接受英语教育是全球化视野下现代公民的必要条件。 在1997年,中国西安成立了“中加教育合作英语浸入式教学实验课题组”,课题组借鉴了加拿大法语浸入式的理论和操作方法,开展了“早期英语半浸入式教学”实验。该实验着重探讨培养我国高质量双语人才的问题,并在有关儿童早期第二语言学习的理论和实践方面为改革我国传统外语教育模式提供了借鉴,西安浸入式课题组研究持续至今,实践证明浸入式模式下的教学效果显著。 在研究生阶段,研究者在导师的精心指导下,认真学习了英语浸入式这个全新教学模式的相关理论,并坚持参加西安幼儿英语浸入式课题组定期组织的教学研讨活动,在研二时有幸进入A老师的班级,对本班幼儿的英语教学活动进行了长达一年之久的跟班观察。本研究的目的是以某幼儿园大班英语浸入式环境为背景的半日活动中幼儿第二语言获得为研究重点,探析幼儿英语浸入式中教师对幼儿的影响因素,深入探究英语浸入式教师在半日活动中如何使用有效的教学策略以更好地促进幼儿第二语言的发展。通过深入剖析课堂,寻找教学活动中的闪光点和不足之处,为其他幼儿浸入式教师提供了有效的理论和实践指导。 本研究采用量化研究与质性研究相结合的方法,通过对幼儿英语浸入式实验园某大班为期一年多的追踪研究,采用现场观察和录像记录的方式收集师幼教学活动中的语料,随后运用国际通用的儿童语言数据交流系统----CHILDES,对收集到的师幼言语数据进行统计分析,在研究资料量化分析的同时还进行了质性分析和讨论,得出以下结论: 1.教师设计新颖和有趣的游戏能提高幼儿英语学习的兴趣。 2.教师恰当适时的使用体态语能有效地帮助幼儿理解和记忆语言。 3.教师正确理解和运用直观形象化教学能有效帮助幼儿运用语言。 4.教师在其他浸入时间的语言输入也同样重要。 针对研究结论提出以下建议: 1.幼儿英语浸入式教师应掌握基本的教育学学科知识。 2.幼儿英语浸入式教师应把握教学活动的节奏和难易程度。 3.教师应及时运用多种策略方法检验每位幼儿语言发展情况。 4.教师应养成及时记录教学活动亮点的习惯。 5.浸入式教师要加强与其他教师的交流合作。
[Abstract]:In contemporary society, the importance of English has been recognized by more and more schools and parents.We are in the era of information, and cultural exchanges between countries are becoming more and more frequent. Language is a tool for people to communicate and think. If we do not master the corresponding language, it means the limitation of personal space.English is the most widely used language in the world.In 1997, Xi'an, China, set up the "Sino-Canadian Cooperative English Immersion Teaching experiment Group", which used the Canadian French immersion theory and operation method for reference, and carried out the "early English semi-immersion teaching" experiment.The experiment focuses on the cultivation of high-quality bilingual talents in China, and provides a reference for the reform of the traditional foreign language education model in China in the theoretical and practical aspects of children's early second language learning.The research of Xi'an immersion research group continues until now, the practice proves that the teaching effect under immersion mode is remarkable.At the graduate level, the researchers, under the guidance of their mentors, carefully studied the relevant theories of the new English immersion teaching model, and insisted on participating in the regular teaching and discussion activities organized by the Xi'an infusing English teaching group.At 02:00, I was lucky to enter teacher A's class and observed the English teaching activities of my class for as long as one year.The purpose of this study is to explore the influence factors of English immersion teachers on children in a half-day English immersion environment in a kindergarten, focusing on the acquisition of the second language in a half-day activity.This paper probes into how English immersion teachers use effective teaching strategies in their half-day activities in order to promote the development of children's second language.Through in-depth analysis of the classroom, to find out the bright spots and deficiencies in teaching activities, for other infused teachers to provide effective theoretical and practical guidance.This study adopts the method of combining quantitative research with qualitative research, through a follow-up study of a large class in the English immersion Experimental Garden for more than one year, and collecting the language materials in the teaching activities of teachers and children by on-the-spot observation and video recording.Then, using the universal children's language data exchange system-Childes, this paper makes a statistical analysis on the collected teacher and child language data, and carries on qualitative analysis and discussion while studying the quantitative analysis of the data, and draws the following conclusions:1.Teachers design novel and interesting games to improve children's interest in English learning.2.Proper and timely use of body language by teachers can effectively help children to understand and memorize language.3.Teachers' correct understanding and application of visual teaching can effectively help children to use language.4.Teacher input in other immersion times is equally important.In response to the findings of the study, the following recommendations are made:1.English immersion teachers should master the basic pedagogy knowledge.2.English immersion teachers should grasp the rhythm and difficulty of teaching activities.3.Teachers should use a variety of strategies to test each child's language development.4.Teachers should form the habit of recording the highlights of teaching activities in time.5.Immersion teachers should strengthen communication and cooperation with other teachers.
