【摘要】：在经济全球化的影响下,技术创新对企业发展的重要性逐渐显现。作为技术创新的有力推动者,公司不仅能通过创新技术为自身带来持续的竞争力与高额的利润,有时甚至会改变人类的生活方式。我国正处于技术创新的蓬勃发展时期,在中国制造变中国创造的道路中,民营企业的表现尤为重要,民营企业的技术创新也日益成为创新型国家建设的重要一环。因此,深入了解民营企业的外部环境以及民营企业内部所有权结构对企业技术创新的影响,探索影响发生的根源,从而做到有的放矢,这对于民营企业健康发展以及我国创新型社会的构建有着极为重要的现实意义。已有针对技术创新的研究往往从研发投资的角度进行分析,忽视了对技术产出以及投入产出效率的研究。企业的内外部环境对技术创新的影响广泛存在,在国内日益完善的制度环境以及金字塔结构在上市公司中普遍存在的背景下,考量这两者对企业的技术创新的影响就变得十分必要,基于此,本文从投入、产出和效率三个角度衡量技术创新,以296家民营制造业上市公司2004-2013年的数据为样本,通过手工搜集的金字塔结构及专利数据、利用SFA方法得出的技术效率数据,考察了外部环境、金字塔结构与技术创新之间的关系。研究结果显示,良好的市场化环境、政府与市场关系以及法律制度环境对企业技术创新有着显著地促进作用;产品市场竞争程度与公司技术创新之间呈显著正相关关系;而金字塔结构层级、金字塔结构复杂度和两权分离度与企业技术创新之间呈现显著的负相关关系。进一步,通过对产品市场竞争以及制度环境等外部环境变量进行分组,发现在制度环境较好的地区,金字塔结构层级、复杂度以及两权分离度对公司专利申请数量、技术员工比重以及研发投入的负向相关性有所减弱;在产品市场竞争程度较高的公司,金字塔结构层级、复杂度以及两权分离度对公司专利申请数量、技术员工比重以及研发投入的负向相关性有所缓解;这说明较高的产品市场竞争程度以及较好的制度环境能够帮助有效企业解决内部利益相关者之间的矛盾,提高企业治理效率,降低代理成本,从而能有效缓解金字塔结构对企业技术创新的抑制作用。
