解开FDI垂直溢出效应之谜——产业链的视角

【摘要】：现有实证研究发现FDI垂直溢出效应不仅可能为正,而且还经常出现显著为负的情况,但现有FDI垂直溢出理论却无法对此提供解释。文章基于产业链视角对FDI垂直溢出的理论机制进行了补充和完善,认为当外资企业出现买方垄断或者卖方垄断的时候,就会对本土企业产生负向的联系效应。基于中国工业企业数据,文章借助产业链位置对FDI垂直溢出效应进行了实证检验,发现当本土企业与较少的行业发生纵向贸易联系时,可供学习的技术更为单一且更容易受外资垄断优势的影响,FDI对本土企业的垂直溢出效应就会更小,甚至为负。
[Abstract]:Existing empirical studies have found that the vertical spillover effect of FDI may not only be positive, but also often negative, but the existing vertical spillover theory of FDI can not explain it. This paper supplements and perfects the theoretical mechanism of vertical spillover of FDI from the perspective of industrial chain, and points out that when there is a buyer's monopoly or a seller's monopoly in a foreign-funded enterprise, there will be a negative correlation effect on the local enterprise. Based on the data of Chinese industrial enterprises, this paper makes an empirical test on the vertical spillover effect of FDI with the help of the location of industry chain, and finds that when local firms have vertical trade links with fewer industries, The technology available for learning is more simple and more susceptible to the influence of foreign monopoly advantage. The vertical spillover effect of FDI on local enterprises will be smaller or even negative.
