【摘要】：近年来,随着对贸易问题研究的日益深入,制度对国际贸易的影响开始受到广泛关注,制度会对一国贸易的规模和模式产生重要影响。制度对贸易产生影响的理论基础是新制度经济学理论,包括制度变迁理论、产权理论、企业理论和交易费用理论。国际贸易问题研究的一个重点集中在出口增长方面,出口增长体现在出口产品数量和出口产品质量的提高,本文主要研究制度对出口产品质量的影响。本文借鉴Faruq(2011)的方法将制度因素引入到影响出口产品质量的分析框架中,进行深入研究。中国现在已经是世界第一大出口国,因此对制度如何影响出口产品质量进行分析,对于提高中国出口产品质量、改善出口结构具有重要意义。本文通过将中国的制度指标具体化为政府效率、监管质量、腐败控制和法治四个方面,利用1996-2012年世界银行数据库中的制度指标数据,运用贸易引力模型,针对中国的制度与出口产品质量进行了一系列实证研究,包括总体研究、分发达国家和发展中国家的研究以及分产品类型的研究。主要结论如下:中国的四个制度指标中除腐败控制之外,其他三个指标的影响都为正,即政府效率的提高、监管质量的提高和法治水平的提高都会促进出口产品质量的升级,而腐败控制指标的升高则会阻碍出口产品质量的提升。随后本文又对发达国家和发展中国家分别进行了实证研究,发展中国家的实证结果较之发达国家更为显著,这可能与中国出口到发达国家和发展中国家的产品类型不同有关。进一步,本文从产品层面,将出口产品分为五大类,分别进行了实证研究,发现制度对高技术产品出口产品质量的影响最大。最后,本文从利用制度改善出口产品质量方面提出了政策建议。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the deepening of the study of trade issues, the impact of the system on international trade began to receive widespread attention. Institution will have an important impact on the scale and mode of a country's trade. The theoretical basis of the influence of institution on trade is the theory of new institutional economics, including institutional change theory and property right theory. Enterprise theory and transaction cost theory. One of the focuses of international trade research is on export growth, which is reflected in the quantity of export products and the improvement of the quality of export products. This paper mainly studies the impact of institution on the quality of export products. This paper uses the method of Faruqi 2011) to introduce institutional factors into the analytical framework that affects the quality of export products. China is now the world's largest exporter, so how the system affects the quality of export products is analyzed to improve the quality of China's export products. It is of great significance to improve the export structure. In this paper, China's institutional indicators are translated into four aspects: government efficiency, regulatory quality, corruption control and the rule of law. By using the institutional index data of the World Bank database from 1996 to 2012 and using the trade gravity model, a series of empirical studies on China's institutional and export product quality have been carried out, including the overall research. The main conclusions are as follows: except for corruption control, the impact of the other three indicators is positive. That is, the improvement of the efficiency of the government, the improvement of the quality of supervision and the improvement of the level of the rule of law will promote the upgrading of the quality of export products. The increase of corruption control index will hinder the improvement of export product quality. Then this paper makes empirical research on developed and developing countries respectively. The empirical results of developing countries are more significant than those of developed countries, which may be related to the different types of products that China exports to developed countries and developing countries. Export products are divided into five categories, respectively, empirical research, found that the system has the greatest impact on the quality of high-tech export products. Finally. This paper puts forward some policy suggestions on how to use the system to improve the quality of export products.
