[Abstract]:The contemporary protection of historical buildings has been paid more and more attention, and the consciousness of protection has been improved significantly. To some extent, the principle of "repairing the old as the old" is embodied in the original nature of the appearance of the historical building, that is, the protection and restoration of the skin of the historical building. After World War II, most German cities, including some important historical cities, were almost razed to the ground. After the division of East and West Germany after the war and the meticulous restoration and renewal of urban buildings after unification, the historical areas of many cities gradually restored their original historical pattern and urban appearance, and retained and continued their profound cultural heritage. The continuation of German urban history depends to a great extent on the protection and renewal of the skin of historical buildings. Epidermis renewal is an important part of architectural renewal, which has profound influence on architecture itself and urban development. On the one hand, architectural skin provides the demand for the function of internal space, on the other hand, as the external representation of space, it has a dialogue with the external environment. From these two aspects, the renewal of building epidermis is not only a strengthening of functional demand, but also an attempt to consolidate, strengthen or change the mode of dialogue between architecture and the outside world. With the development of modern architecture, the function of building skin in architecture is increasing. Architectural epidermis in materials, structure, morphology presents a more diversified innovation and development. To a certain extent, it provides rich techniques for the protection and renewal of historical buildings, and the results of conservation and renewal show contemporary interpretation of history. This paper attempts to explore the formation of epidermis design strategy by investigating and analyzing the status of conservation and renewal of historical buildings in Germany. By analyzing, comparing and classifying the actual cases, this paper discusses the method of skin design in the preservation and renewal of historical buildings in Germany. In order to provide the corresponding reference for the protection and renewal of historical buildings in China. The paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter summarizes the background of the research, the development of related fields at home and abroad, the research object and scope, the purpose and significance of the research. Through the overview of the development of the three major architectural conservation theories in Europe and the re-understanding of the architectural epidermis, it emphasizes the important position of the architectural skin in the architecture. The second chapter is about the investigation and analysis of the protection and renewal of the historical buildings in Germany. This paper introduces and analyzes the general situation of protection and renewal of historical buildings in Germany, general work flow, restoration technology and related protection organizations and laws. Through the analysis of the above situation, it is concluded that Germany has formed a good operational mechanism for the protection and renewal of historical buildings, which provides many possibilities for the protection and renewal of historical buildings' skin. The third chapter from the modern development of three architectural protection theory to the German historical building protection and renewal principles, from the role of the skin to the design strategy of the skin, in different levels in turn, discusses the formation of the German historical building epidermis design strategy; The fourth chapter discusses the design method of architectural skin in the course of protection and renewal by sorting out the actual cases; the fifth chapter summarizes the experience of Germany and the thinking brought to our country.
