二孩生育意愿和就业状况——基于中国劳动力动态调查的证据

【摘要】:本文对全面二孩政策下育龄妇女的生育意愿及其影响因素进行研究,并着重考察生育意愿与就业状况的关系。为此,本文首先构建了一个内生性劳动供给和生育决策的跨期迭代模型,并利用2014年的中国劳动力动态调查数据,首次对全面二孩政策下妇女生育意愿及其影响因素进行分析。数据显示,在全面二孩政策下,只有28.9%左右的育龄妇女愿意生育二孩。实证结果证实了理论模型的推断,即拥有工作对妇女的生育意愿有显著的负向影响。其中,有工作已婚育龄妇女的二孩生育意愿比无工作已婚育龄妇女的二孩生育意愿低8.43%。
[Abstract]:This paper studies the reproductive willingness of women of childbearing age and its influencing factors under the policy of comprehensive two-child policy, and focuses on the relationship between fertility willingness and employment status. For this reason, this paper first constructs an intertemporal iterative model of endogenous labor supply and fertility decision making, and analyzes the women's fertility intention and its influencing factors under the comprehensive two-child policy for the first time, using the data of Chinese labor force dynamic survey in 2014. According to the data, only about 28.9% of women of childbearing age would like to have a second child under the comprehensive two-child policy. The empirical results confirm the theoretical model's inference that having a job has a significant negative effect on women's reproductive willingness. Among them, the willingness of working married women to have children was 8.43% lower than that of working married women of childbearing age.
