健康冲击对农村中老年人农业劳动供给的影响——基于CHARLS数据的实证分析

【摘要】：基于中国健康与养老追踪调查(CHARLS)2011年全国基线调查中2277个农村中老年人样本,本文运用Heckman两阶段模型研究了慢性疾病与急性疾病对农村中老年人农业劳动参与及农业劳动时间的影响及其差异。结果表明:慢性疾病虽然未对农村中老年人参与农业劳动的可能性造成明显影响,但显著减少了他们的农业劳动时间;急性疾病的冲击不仅大大降低了农村中老年人参与农业劳动的可能性,也显著减少了他们的农业劳动时间。此外,健康冲击对农村中老年人农业劳动供给的影响还存在年龄与性别差异:健康冲击显著降低了农村老年人参与农业劳动的可能性,减少了他们的农业劳动时间,但对农村中年人农业劳动参与影响不显著,仅显著减少了他们的农业劳动时间;健康冲击对农村女性中老年人农业劳动参与和农业劳动时间的显著负向影响均大于对农村男性中老年人的影响。
[Abstract]:Based on the China Health and Old-age tracking Survey (CHARLS) 2011 national baseline survey of 2277 rural middle-aged and elderly samples, In this paper, Heckman two-stage model was used to study the effects of chronic disease and acute disease on the agricultural labor participation and agricultural labor time of the middle and old people in rural areas and their differences. The results showed that the chronic disease had no obvious effect on the possibility of rural middle and old people participating in agricultural labor, but significantly reduced their agricultural working time. The impact of acute disease not only greatly reduces the possibility of rural middle-aged and elderly people to participate in agricultural labor, but also significantly reduces their agricultural working time. In addition, the impact of health shock on the agricultural labor supply of rural middle-aged and elderly also has age and gender differences: health shock has significantly reduced the possibility of rural elderly to participate in agricultural labor, and reduced their agricultural labor time. But the impact on the rural middle-aged agricultural labor participation is not significant, only significantly reduced their agricultural labor time; The significant negative effects of health shock on rural women's agricultural labor participation and agricultural working time were greater than those on rural male middle-aged and elderly people.
