[Abstract]:After China's State Council announced a five-year plan to help container routes improve their competitiveness in the global market, Andre Toyt, chief executive of SOHAR Free Trade Area, said SOHAR ports and free trade zones were geographically superior and could be a competitive base for China's shipping industry in the Middle East. Chile's shipping giant, South American Shipping Corp., has reached an agreement with China Middle East Express (CMX) to allow the latter to visit the Oman logistics hub, the company's current chief executive announced.
