[Abstract]:The Pearl River system that straddles southwestern and southern China and flows through Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong and other provinces and regions. The main watersheds are Zhuang, Miao, Yao, Dong, Buyi, Dai, Mulao, Maonan, Yi, Shui, Gelao, etc.Hui and other ethnic minority groups as well as Guang Fu, Hakka, Fuk (Chaoshan Lu, "!Han ethnic groups, such as the "people", have complex ethnic composition and rich regional culture. In the long historical development process, according to the local special natural environment, the various ethnic groups in the Pearl River basin have formed the unique traditional cultural expression form, and present the regional cultural characteristics which are dependent on the mountains and rivers and are inclusive. For a long time, far from the political center of the Central Plains Dynasty, the Pearl River Valley was often regarded as a wild land, and the local ethnic groups lived on the fringes of the so-called pluralistic structure of the Chinese nation. And its regional culture appears in the imagination of the mainstream discourse groups in the form of civilization fragments. After the 1980s, with the rapid development of regional economy, the frequent movement of population and the continuous enhancement of cultural exchange,The social life of various ethnic groups in the Pearl River Valley is gradually becoming "integrated".In this process, although the pattern of cultural diversity is still preserved, because of the weakening of the social foundation to support the traditional way of life, the transmission and development of regional culture in the Pearl River Basin is facing an unprecedented impact.
