重庆市金融产业集聚与经济增长关系研究

【摘要】：随着经济全球化和金融业的迅速发展，国际金融资源在区域间流动加速，金融业呈现出在某一中心城市高度集聚的现象。很多发达国家的金融产业集聚研究经验表明，金融产业集聚与经济增长之间存在密切的互动关系。国内部分学者针对环渤海、长三角和珠三角地区金融产业集聚与经济增长关系的研究，也基本认为二者之间存在稳定的关系。重庆市作为西部唯一的直辖市，是承载西部大开发战略的重要城市，在近20年中经济快速发展，金融业也以较快的速度和规模在成长。本文试图通过实证方法探究重庆市金融产业集聚程度以及金融产业集聚与经济增长是否存在着稳定的关系，并在此基础上，借鉴国内外相关的研究经验提出适合重庆市金融产业集聚发展的建议。本研究首先描述了直辖以来重庆市经济发展情况以及重庆市银行业、证券业和保险业现状，数据显示重庆市经济总量不断增长，产业结构不断优化，金融业发展迅速，金融体系逐步完善。但不可否认，，与东部沿海城市相比，重庆市金融业发展依然较为落后。接着本文采用主成分分析法，建立综合指标评价体系来评价重庆市金融产业集聚程度。根据计算综合评价值F发现，重庆市金融产业的集聚程度越来越高并且在2006年以后集聚速度加快。此外，本文将重庆市金融产业集聚程度与部分西南省市作对比发现四川省的金融产业集聚程度最高，其次是重庆市、云南省，贵州省排名最后。最后本文采用1997年——2012年时间序列数据分析，通过建立误差修正模型和格兰杰因果关系检验发现，重庆市金融产业集聚是经济增长的格兰杰原因，但是，重庆市经济增长却不是金融产业集聚的格兰杰原因，二者仅存在单向的因果关系。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of economic globalization and financial industry, the flow of international financial resources among regions accelerates, and the financial industry is highly concentrated in a certain central city. The research experience of financial industry agglomeration in many developed countries shows that, There is a close interaction between financial industry agglomeration and economic growth. Some domestic scholars have studied the relationship between financial industry agglomeration and economic growth in Bohai Rim, Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta. Chongqing, as the only municipality directly under the Central Government in the western region, is an important city carrying the strategy of the large-scale development of the western region, and its economy has developed rapidly in the past 20 years. This paper attempts to explore the degree of financial industry agglomeration in Chongqing and whether there is a stable relationship between financial industry agglomeration and economic growth through empirical methods. Some suggestions are put forward for the development of financial industry agglomeration in Chongqing based on the relevant research experience at home and abroad. This study first describes the economic development of Chongqing since its direct jurisdiction, as well as the current situation of banking, securities and insurance in Chongqing. The data show that the total economic volume of Chongqing is constantly increasing, the industrial structure is constantly optimizing, and the financial industry is developing rapidly. The financial system is gradually improving, but it is undeniable that compared with the eastern coastal cities, the financial development of Chongqing is still relatively backward. Then this paper establishes a comprehensive index evaluation system to evaluate the degree of financial industry agglomeration in Chongqing by principal component analysis. The degree of financial industry agglomeration in Chongqing is getting higher and higher and the agglomeration speed has been accelerated since 2006. In addition, this paper compares the degree of financial industry agglomeration in Chongqing with that of some southwest provinces and cities, and finds that Sichuan Province has the highest degree of financial industry agglomeration. Next is Chongqing, Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province rank last. Finally, by using the time series data analysis from 1997 to 2012, by establishing the error correction model and Granger causality test, it is found that the financial industry agglomeration in Chongqing is the Granger cause of economic growth. However, the economic growth of Chongqing is not the Granger cause of financial industry agglomeration.
