关系冗余、组织合法性与新创企业绩效关系研究

【摘要】:近年来,随着“大众创业、万众创新”政策的提出,我国的创业活动呈现突破式增长,各类创业企业如雨后春笋般纷纷涌现,但创业活动被认为是成功率最低的活动,据统计全球创业失败率高达70%,而我国的中小企业普遍创新潜力缺乏、成长空间狭窄,寿命远低于国际水平。关系网络帮助企业获取各种资源,从而提高企业的存活率和成长空间,我国作为典型的关系型社会,组织之间关系的多样性和重复性不可避免带来关系冗余,于是,关系冗余的悖论就显示出来。一方面新创企业有更多的不确定性,关系冗余有助于缓冲网络风险,提高创业存活率,进而提高企业绩效,而另一方面网络关系的构建需要成本,冗余带来资源的浪费,违背了效率的原则。基于此,本文以社会网络的关系冗余度为出发点,研究关系冗余对新创企业绩效的影响,同时关系网络是企业获取组织合法性的重要手段,因此本文引入组织合法性变量,探讨组织合法性在关系冗余和新创企业绩效二者之间的中介作用。本文首先对关系冗余的概念进行界定,综述了关系冗余、组织合法性对企业绩效影响的研究现状,总结了企业绩效评价的理论方法。从中国情境出发,提出关系冗余与组织合法性对创业企业的重要性。在系统分析社会网络理论、制度理论的基础上,提出关系冗余、组织合法性与新创企业绩效三者之间的理论关系模型。以山西省太原市高新区的创业企业为样本选取对象,通过采用文献分析、专家咨询和头脑风暴等方法建立各变量的指标体系。依据优化和筛选后的指标体系设计问卷,然后进行问卷调查获取相关数据,运用多元统计回归分析方法对三个变量之间的关系进行检验和验证,并得出结论。研究结果发现,关系冗余与新创企业绩效之间呈倒U型关系,在一定范围内,关系冗余与新创企业绩效正相关,超过一定范围,关系冗余越高,反而企业绩效越差;组织合法性与企业绩效正相关,企业的合法化程度越高,企业绩效越好;关系冗余与组织合法性正相关,关系冗余越高,企业的合法化程度越高;在关系冗余对新创企业的绩效影响中,组织合法性起到部分中介的作用,关系冗余一方面对企业绩效产生直接影响,另一方面关系冗余通过提高企业的组织合法性而间接影响企业绩效。最后,本文提出了研究局限与展望,为进一步的研究提供指导。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the "mass entrepreneurship, innovation" policy put forward, entrepreneurial activities in China show a breakthrough growth, all kinds of entrepreneurial enterprises have sprung up. However, entrepreneurial activity is considered as the lowest success rate. According to statistics, the failure rate of global entrepreneurship is as high as 70%. However, the small and medium-sized enterprises in our country generally lack the innovation potential and have a narrow space for growth. The life span is far lower than the international level. The relationship network helps enterprises to obtain all kinds of resources so as to improve the survival rate and growth space of enterprises. China is a typical relational society. The diversity and repeatability of the relationship between organizations inevitably lead to the redundancy of the relationship, so the paradox of the redundancy of the relationship shows. On the one hand, there is more uncertainty in the new enterprise. Relational redundancy is helpful to buffer network risk, improve entrepreneurial survival rate, and then improve enterprise performance. On the other hand, the construction of network relationship requires cost, and redundancy leads to waste of resources. It violates the principle of efficiency. Based on this, this paper studies the impact of relational redundancy on the performance of new enterprises, and the relationship network is an important means for enterprises to obtain organizational legitimacy. Therefore, this paper introduces organizational legitimacy variables to explore the intermediary role of organizational legitimacy between relational redundancy and the performance of start-up enterprises. Firstly, this paper defines the concept of relational redundancy, and summarizes the concept of relational redundancy. The current situation of the research on the influence of organizational legitimacy on enterprise performance is summarized, and the theoretical methods of enterprise performance evaluation are summarized. On the basis of systematic analysis of social network theory and system theory, the relationship redundancy is put forward. The theoretical model of the relationship between organizational legitimacy and the performance of the new venture. Taking the entrepreneurial enterprises in Taiyuan High-tech Zone of Shanxi Province as the sample, the paper adopts literature analysis. Expert consultation and brainstorming methods to establish the index system of each variable. According to the optimization and screening of the index system design questionnaire and then conduct a questionnaire survey to obtain relevant data. Using the method of multivariate statistical regression analysis to test and verify the relationship between the three variables, and draw a conclusion. The research results show that the relationship between redundancy and the performance of new enterprises is inverted U-shaped relationship, within a certain range. The higher the relationship redundancy is, the worse the enterprise performance is. Organizational legitimacy is positively related to enterprise performance, and the higher the degree of legalization is, the better corporate performance is. Relationship redundancy is positively related to organizational legitimacy. The higher the relationship redundancy, the higher the legalization degree of enterprises. In the impact of relational redundancy on the performance of new enterprises, organizational legitimacy plays a part of the intermediary role. On the one hand, relational redundancy has a direct impact on corporate performance. On the other hand, relational redundancy indirectly affects enterprise performance by improving organizational legitimacy. Finally, this paper puts forward the limitations and prospects of research to provide guidance for further research.
