政府工作报告英译本评价资源分布研究

【摘要】：评价理论是系统功能语言学框架下提出的人际功能的新发展,近年来其在理论研究与实际应用领域均受到了广泛关注。语篇分析是评价理论的主要应用领域之一,涉及学术,法律,广告,文学等多种语篇体裁,为其提供了新的研究视角和理论框架。随着政治经济军事实力的飞速发展,中国的国际地位逐年上升,作为了解中国发展进程的一扇窗口,政府工作报告受到了国内外关心中国发展人群的热切关注,从政府工作报告中可以解读出政府对过去一年政治经济社会发展的态度与立场以及未来一年发展规划的趋势,因此对于政府工作报告的理解对理解中国政策以及国内发展形势是至关重要的。本文以评价理论对政府工作报告英译本中的态度评价资源进行了量化分析,对评价资源分布情况及其所承担功能进行了研究,从而对政府工作报告英译本中态度评价意义的实现手段及目的做出了总结,为政府工作报告的阅读提供了参考。本文对政府工作报告中含有态度评价资源的词汇进行了统计,并且根据情感,判定,鉴赏三个子系统进行了分类比较。根据统计,政府工作报告英译本中的评价资源多为积极评价资源,消极评价资源较为少见;评价资源表现形式多为引发型,起到增强文章客观性的作用;三个子系统中以判定评价资源居多,其中主要集中于能力范畴,从而表现政府在过去一年中所取得成就。鉴赏子系统中以评估资源居多,情感子系统在全篇评价资源所占比例最少,减少了文章的主观性。这种分布模式符合政府工作报告的体裁及其履行的功能。
[Abstract]:Evaluation theory is a new development of interpersonal function in the framework of systemic functional linguistics. In recent years, it has received extensive attention in both theoretical research and practical application. Discourse analysis is one of the main application fields of evaluation theory, which involves academic research. With the rapid development of political, economic and military power, China's international status has been rising year by year, which serves as a window to understand the development of China. The government work report has received keen attention from people at home and abroad who are concerned about China's development. From the government work report, we can interpret the government's attitude and position towards the political, economic and social development of the past year and the trend of the development plan for the coming year. Therefore, the understanding of the government work report is very important for the understanding of China's policy and the domestic development situation. This paper makes a quantitative analysis of the attitude evaluation resources in the English translation of the government work report based on the evaluation theory. This paper studies the distribution of evaluation resources and its functions, and summarizes the means and purposes of realizing the meaning of attitude evaluation in the English translation of the government work report. This paper makes statistics on the vocabulary of attitude evaluation resources in the government work report, and classifies and compares the three subsystems according to emotion, judgment and appreciation. Most of the evaluation resources in the English translation of the government work report are positive evaluation resources, but the negative evaluation resources are relatively rare, and the evaluation resources are mostly in the form of initiation, which plays the role of enhancing the objectivity of the article. Most of the three subsystems are judged and evaluated resources, which are mainly concentrated in the capability category, thus showing the achievements of the government in the past year. Emotion subsystem accounts for the least proportion of evaluation resources in the whole article and reduces the subjectivity of the article. This distribution model accords with the style of government work report and its function.
