[Abstract]:Immigration for immigrants means leaving home, moving from a familiar place to an unfamiliar, unfamiliar country. Immigrants need to step out of their original social and cultural circle and rebuild their lives in the new environment. The process of migration takes place under the background of the political and economic environment of the countries of immigration and emigration, which also affects the construction of the identity of immigrants and the possibility of their integration into the new environment. The new social environment in the country of immigration requires the positive integration of the immigrants, but the process of integration for the immigrants means, first of all, to recognize the differences between themselves and others. Language affects our identity and collective sense of belonging, and thus plays an important role in the process of identity building. Therefore, the relationship among immigration, language and identity is the central issue of identity construction and the subject of this paper. Cross-cultural Germanics focuses on the encounter and collision of different cultures and identities. This paper studies how the identity of Spanish immigrants is affected by their residence experience in Germany, and discusses the important factors that influence and promote the process of this change. In the determination of research problems, this paper adopts qualitative research method, starting with the personal experience of Spanish immigrants. This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter introduces the theme of this paper, the significance of the topic and research issues. The second chapter briefly introduces the history of Spanish immigrants in Germany, and then discusses the relationship among immigration, language and identity from a theoretical point of view. The third chapter introduces the research methods. First of all, the central issue of the study is elaborated, and the reason for choosing narrative interview as the research means is discussed. Then it introduces the stages of the research process, as well as the analysis method ("rooted theory") and the process of data collection, collation and analysis. The fourth chapter briefly introduces and summarizes the contents of the interviews and the results of the data and theoretical analysis. The last part summarizes the full text, and makes the prospect for the follow-up research. This paper demonstrates the complexity of immigration process through empirical investigation, and starts with the relationship among identity, immigration and language, and makes a theoretical analysis of the process. In the part of data analysis and conclusion, the author gives some enlightenment and suggestions to the follow-up research. This paper shows the complexity of the object of study, so it should be regarded as a problem graph. The starting point of the author's study is that language plays an important role in the process of identity construction and cognition of the new environment, and the hypothesis is verified by empirical investigation. The survey found that many interviewees have different experiences and interpretations of the new identity, or the characteristics of the new identity, which is precisely why they drift between the two cultures. The sense of belonging and identity of the interviewees to a culture is based on a variety of identities that are so numerous that they connect and merge, and ultimately build a mixed mix of interviewees. Multi-cultural identity.
