新华网数据新闻可视化实践研究

【摘要】：数据新闻是一种以大数据技术为核心的新闻报道方式,通过对数据进行深入挖掘、处理、分析的基础上展现数据,最终以可视化的形式呈现给读者。可视化是数据新闻最终呈现的过程,其传播直接关系着读者对信息的理解和认知。探究数据新闻可视化的实践现状及存在问题,有利于提升数据新闻的传播效果。本文采用内容分析法,以新华网的“数据新闻”专栏为例,立足可视化传播实践,探究数据新闻可视化传播的发展路径。新华网是国内较早探索、研究数据新闻报道形式的新闻媒体,2013年3月成立“数据新闻”专栏,并以“用数据传递独特新闻价值”为理念,制作、发布高品质的新闻作品,致力于为受众提供一个全方位的专业数据新闻平台,内容涵盖政治、经济、文化、社会民生等各个层面,而且其可视化的形式多样,专业化程度也居业界前列。尤其在可视化新闻报道方面,“数据新闻”栏目积极尝试制作多种可视化的新闻作品,为我国数据新闻可视化的实践提供了一定的借鉴。本文对数据新闻及新闻可视化的概念进行简单梳理,理清数据新闻的发展脉络。并且立足新华网“数据新闻”专栏可视化的实践,从数据来源、新闻选题、可视化呈现形式等方面进行类目构建,探究“数据新闻”可视化发展的实践经验,总结其实践特色。数据新闻作为一种新兴的新闻报道模式,被不断地运用到实践中,受到社会各界的广泛关注,但其发展还处于起步阶段,理论基础薄弱,没有形成一定的专业规范。新华网“数据新闻”的实践也存在很多问题,包括开放数据的程度不高、数据新闻专业规范未建立、现实技术的局限、数据新闻人才供不应求等。笔者在实践基础上对出现这些问题的原因进行分析,进而探究多主体共同协作的发展路径:从实现数据开放共享、加强技术投入、数据新闻人才培养等方面,政府、媒体及新闻院校要实现协作互助,共同推进我国数据新闻实践的发展,进一步推进数据新闻领域专业规范的构建。在国家大数据战略的时代背景下,笔者相信数据新闻的未来发展前景会更加广阔。
[Abstract]:Data news is a kind of news reporting method with big data technology as the core. It shows the data on the basis of deep mining, processing and analysis of the data, and presents the data to readers in the form of visualization. Visualization is the process of the final presentation of data news, and its dissemination is directly related to the reader's understanding and cognition of information. It is helpful to improve the communication effect of data news by exploring the present situation and existing problems of data news visualization. This paper adopts the content analysis method, taking the "data news" column of Xinhuanet as an example, based on the practice of visual communication, probes into the development path of visual communication of data news. Xinhuanet is an early domestic news media that studies the form of data news reports. In March 2013, it set up a "data news" column and made and released high-quality news works with the idea of "transmitting unique news value with data." Committed to provide a comprehensive professional data news platform for the audience, the content covers political, economic, cultural, social and livelihood levels, and its visual forms are diverse, the degree of specialization is also in the forefront of the industry. Especially in the aspect of visual news reporting, the column "data News" actively tries to produce a variety of visual news works, which provides a certain reference for the practice of visualization of data news in our country. This paper briefly combs the concepts of data news and news visualization, and clarifies the development of data news. And based on the practice of visualization of "data news" column of Xinhua net, this paper constructs categories from the aspects of data sources, news topics and visual presentation forms, explores the practical experience of visualization development of "data news", and summarizes its practical characteristics. As a new news reporting mode, data news has been continuously applied to practice and received extensive attention from all walks of life. However, its development is still in its infancy, its theoretical foundation is weak, and it has not formed certain professional norms. There are many problems in the practice of Xinhuanet's "data news", including the low degree of open data, the unestablished professional standard of data journalism, the limitation of practical technology, the shortage of data journalism talents and so on. On the basis of practice, the author analyzes the causes of these problems, and then probes into the development path of multi-agent cooperation: from the aspects of realizing the open sharing of data, strengthening technical input, training talents of data news, etc, the government, The media and news colleges should cooperate and help each other to promote the development of data news practice and further promote the construction of professional norms in the field of data journalism. Under the background of national big data strategy, the author believes that the future development prospect of data news will be broader.
