【摘要】：本文是一篇翻译实践报告。翻译的原文选自《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》，属于法律文本。这一法律文件规定了中华人民共和国境内的劳动合同的订立、履行、变更、解除和终止，以及其他有关事项。随着改革开放的不断深入，中国与世界各国在政治、经济、文化和法律等领域的交往日益频繁。在处理各种国际事务中，法律法规的作用显得非常重要，因此越来越多的法律文本被翻译成他国语言。好的译文不仅能正确传达出意思，还能为中国在国际交往中赢得有利地位。本翻译实践报告从奈达的功能对等理论出发，将作者的译文与官方译文进行对比，从词和句法层面总结出一些常用的法律文件汉译英策略，如古体词、正式词汇、同义词等的使用，以及句子中语态、结构的改变等，以便对将来类似的法律文件汉译英起到借鉴和指导作用。同时，作者也总结了自身在翻译该法律文件过程中的不足和困难之处，，如法律专业知识欠缺，无法准确应用法律专业词汇，以及对个别长句理解和翻译有困难等。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report. The original text of the translation is taken from the Labor contract Law of the people's Republic of China and belongs to the legal text. This legal document provides for the conclusion, performance, modification, dissolution and termination of labor contracts in the people's Republic of China, as well as other related matters. With the deepening of reform and opening up, China and other countries in the political, economic, cultural and legal exchanges are increasingly frequent. In international affairs, the role of laws and regulations is very important, so more and more legal texts have been translated into other languages. A good translation can not only convey the meaning correctly, but also win the favorable position for China in international communication. Based on Nida's functional equivalence theory, this translation report compares the author's translation with the official translation, and summarizes some commonly used translation strategies of legal documents, such as archaic words and formal words, from the lexical and syntactic levels. The use of synonyms, as well as the change of voice and structure in sentences, will serve as a reference and guide for the translation of similar legal documents into Chinese and English in the future. At the same time, the author also summarizes the shortcomings and difficulties in translating the legal documents, such as the lack of legal professional knowledge, the inability to use legal professional vocabulary accurately, and the difficulties in understanding and translating individual long sentences.
