汉语法律文本中动词的英译研究

【摘要】：随着经济和全球化的发展,国家间政治、经济、文化的交流日益密切,让世界了解我国的法律也变得日趋重要。法律文本作为一种特殊的文本,具有正式性和权威性,因此,汉语法律文本的英译在中国法律的传播中发挥着重要的作用。由于汉英法律文本语言在词类使用上存在着较大的差异,尤其是汉语法律文本中动词较多,所以本文以《电信网络运行监督管理办法》为例,将动词的句子进行分类,利用不同的手段对法律文本中的动词的英译进行研究。经研究可以得出以下结论:在对汉语法律文本进行英译时,根据不同的句型,汉语法律文本中动词需要转化为英语动词的名词化、英语的介词短语等等。通过这一手段,不仅可以减少英语法律文本中的动词数量以突出重要信息,而且使得译文更加紧凑、简练,从而更符合英语法律文本的文体风格特点。
[Abstract]:With the development of economy and globalization, the exchange of politics, economy and culture between countries is getting closer and closer. It is increasingly important for the world to understand the laws of our country. As a kind of special text, the legal text has the formality and authority, therefore, the English translation of the Chinese legal text plays an important role in the dissemination of Chinese law. Since there are great differences in the use of parts of speech between Chinese and English legal texts, especially in Chinese legal texts, there are more verbs, so this paper takes the "method of Supervision and Management of Telecommunication Network" as an example to classify the sentences of verbs. This paper studies the English translation of verbs in legal texts by different means. The following conclusions can be drawn from the study: in translating Chinese legal texts into English, according to different sentence patterns, verbs in Chinese legal texts need to be translated into nominalization of English verbs, prepositional phrases in English and so on. By this means, not only the number of verbs in English legal texts can be reduced to highlight important information, but also the translation can be more compact and concise, thus more in line with the stylistic characteristics of English legal texts.
