【摘要】：正看到《山西省乡镇简志》这套大书,眼前一亮,惊喜数重。笔者长期从事出版工作,多年前也曾责编过十余年县志,深知志书工作之不易,尤其是一部总志产生之不易。拜读之后,更是感概有余,于是缀辞此文,以飨读者。在中国悠久的历史长河中,郡县制行政架构的作用与意义,已得到普遍认同。特别是县这一级,一直被中央视为统治之基础,直至前几年仍有"基础不牢,地动山摇"的说法。实际上,在中国的政治经济社会中乡镇

The author has been engaged in publishing for a long time, and has been responsible for compiling county records for more than ten years.
