2013年夏季普里兹湾变性绕极深层水涌升陆架特征分析

【摘要】:基于中国南极科学考察水文调查资料,本文发现了变性绕极深层水(MCDW)涌升普里兹湾陆架的现象,并给出了其分布特征及运动过程。中国第29次南极科学考察获得的CTD要素分布中,MCDW涌升陆架过程清晰可见。在详细给出普里兹湾及邻近海域MCDW的物理特性及其空间分布的基础上,综合前人研究成果,分析了MCDW涌升陆架过程中的运动特征。指出在研究海域内,MCDW主要通过73.00°E断面涌升至陆架;在涌升过程中,受湾口东向流影响涌升路径向东南偏移,至75.00°E附近汇入湾内的气旋式环流,随南向流进入和影响湾内;在73.00°E断面上,涌升的MCDW呈舌状分布,并向南逐渐抬升,-1.00℃等温线最南到达67.10°S附近,向上扩展最高到270m左右;在67.25°S的纬向湾口断面上,MCDW主要在73.50°~75.00°E之间、150~350m的范围内进入陆架,不存在明显的东西向过渡过程。
[Abstract]:Based on the hydrological survey data of Antarctic scientific survey in China, the phenomenon of MCDW surge rising in Prydz Bay shelf is found, and its distribution characteristics and motion process are given. The process of MCDW upwelling continental shelf can be seen clearly in the distribution of CTD elements obtained from the 29th Antarctic Scientific Survey in China. Based on the detailed analysis of the physical characteristics and spatial distribution of MCDW in Prydz Bay and its adjacent waters, the kinematic characteristics of the MCDW upwelling shelf are analyzed based on the previous research results. It is pointed out that the MCDW rises to the continental shelf mainly through section 73.00 掳E in the study area, and during the course of upwelling, the trending path of upwelling is shifted to the southeast under the influence of the eastward current at the mouth of the bay, and the cyclonic circulation which converges into the bay near 75.00 掳E, and enters and affects the bay with the southward current. On section 73.00 掳E, the upwelling MCDW is distributed like a tongue, and gradually uplifts southward to the southernmost reaches about 67.10 掳S, reaching the maximum of 270m, and entering the continental shelf mainly within the range of 73.50 掳75.00 掳E and 150m / 350m at the section of 67.25 掳S. There is no obvious transition from east to west.
