    Microorganisms are the most important decomposers in ecosystems on the earth and also resources libraries for human beings with the greatest potential of exploration. Microorganisms have important effects on the aspects, such as decomposition and transformation of pollutants, recycled utilization of resources, production and development of non harmful products, protection and construction of ecological environments. The many major problems confronting human beings, such as environmental pollution, lacking of resources ecological damages and health harm can be solved by exploiting and investigating microorganisms. Biotechniques will produce significant effects on sustainable development. The main factors affecting aqueous ecology and their interrilation were discussed. The function, evolvement and prospects of microorganisms applied in ecological regulation were emphatically analyzed.The feasibility of application and industry of advanced microorganism techniques,such as genetic engineering technique and clonal technique in environmental field was analyzed.

Five specific biodiversity databases include: database of anti_pollution plants and pollution_indicator plants, database of ornamental plants, database of pests and harmful animals, database of wetland biodiversity. The design and realization of the system was introduced in the present paper. At last, the author put forward some viewpoints about the problems in the construction of biodiversity information system.

    上海市生物多样性信息管理系统是一个在因特网上发布的Web数据库 ,用户可以通过浏览器访问http :/ /www .ibsfu .fudan .edu .cn来进行检索和查询。目前提供的主要数据库包括 2个有机体多样性本底数据库 :鸟类资源库、两栖爬行动物及哺乳动物库 ;5个专类生物多样性数据库 :绿化观赏植物库、抗污染植物库、环境污染敏感植物库、害虫害兽库、湿地生物多样性库。同时 ,数据库上网与实现的相关技术也在文中作了详细阐述。最后 ,就目前关于生物多样性信息系统建设中存在的问题发表了一些看法。

    The target and the problems are put forward during the process of development of the resource repository of environmental engineering specialty. The content, general structure and development technique for repository design are narrated in details. In addition, the suggestion of expanding function of resource repository and perfecting the system are described.

    文章通过对环境工程专业资源库的设计与开发,提出了建立环境工程专业资源库的建设目标和需要解决的问题,对资源库的所包含的内容、总体结构、开发技术路线进行详细的说明,并对资源库的功能扩张与系统完善提出建议。
