数据中心环境下网络性能测量技术研究

【摘要】:随着计算机技术的迅猛发展,网络需求不断增大,数据中心作为数据管理的集中地和一切IT服务的基础,其网络性能直接关系到整个网络服务功能能否实现及实现的质量。对数据中心环境下的网络进行适时和准确地性能测量,是实施有效的维护和管理、优化调整流量策略、提升数据中心运行质量的前提。 当前有些数据中心网络环境相对复杂,主要体现在内部网络的多种异构网络融合部署。本文设计实现的系统运行环境是数据中心内网(融合了IB网和以太网)与互联网互连的网络结构。相对于单一网络结构而言,这种网络测量系统既要实现对数据中心内网中的各个子网进行性能测量,又要实现数据中心内部网络与互联网中任一节点之间的性能测量,增加了测量的困难。 论文的主要研究了以下内容:一是分析了数据中心网络性能测量的研究背景和意义;二是介绍了网络性能测量相关技术,包括测量参数、测量方式、相关算法、测量工具等。重点分析了数据中心环境下同时实现对数据中心内部网络与互联网中任一节点之间,以及数据中心内部网络的本网节点之间分别进行测量的难点,归纳了数据中心网络性能测量的实施步骤;三是针对数据中心环境下实现内部服务器与互联网中任一节点之间进行性能测量过程中无法取得节点协作的实际,,以Pathneck源程序为基础,改进并设计了一种采用自适应方法测量互联网性能的工具Pathteck,在尽量减小对网络负载影响的前提下提高了测量精度;四是分析了数据中心内部网络中的IB网和以太网结构及网络性能特点,介绍了测量IB网的工具Qperf;设计了分布式的、支持图形化界面的性能测量工具Tperf,实验证明其测量效果;五是在综合了对互联网、IB网和以太网络性能测量的分析研究和测量工具改进、选择的基础上,设计实现了一套数据中心环境下的网络性能测量系统,系统采用集中管理的办法和Client/Server分离的结构方式,实现了数据中心环境对数据中心内部服务器与互联网中任一节点、数据中心内网中的以太网和IB网络进行性能测量的功能,通过实验证明运行效果较好。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of computer technology, the demand of network is increasing. Data center is the centralized place of data management and the basis of all IT services. Its network performance is directly related to whether or not the whole network service function can be realized and the quality of realization. It is an effective maintenance and management to measure the network performance in a timely and accurate manner under the data center environment. Optimize and adjust the flow strategy and improve the operation quality of the data center. At present, some data center network environments are relatively complex. The system running environment designed and implemented in this paper is the data center intranet (integrating IB network and Ethernet). Network structure for interconnection with the Internet. Compared to a single network structure. This network measurement system not only realizes the performance measurement of each subnet in the data center inner network, but also realizes the performance measurement between the data center internal network and any node in the Internet. It increases the difficulty of measurement. The main contents of this paper are as follows: firstly, the research background and significance of data center network performance measurement are analyzed; The second is to introduce the network performance measurement technology, including measurement parameters, measurement methods, correlation algorithm. Measurement tools and so on. Emphasis is placed on the difficulties of simultaneous measurement between the data center internal network and any node in the Internet, and between the data center internal network and the local network nodes in the data center environment. The implementation steps of data center network performance measurement are summarized. The third is to realize the performance measurement between the internal server and any node in the Internet under the data center environment, which can not achieve node cooperation, based on the Pathneck source program. This paper improves and designs a tool named Pathteck, which uses adaptive method to measure Internet performance, and improves the accuracy of measurement under the premise of minimizing the influence on network load. Fourthly, the structure and performance of IB network and Ethernet in data center are analyzed, and the tool of measuring IB network is introduced. A distributed performance measurement tool, Tperfwhich supports graphical interface, is designed, and its measurement effect is proved by experiments. Fifthly, a network performance measurement system under the data center environment is designed and implemented on the basis of synthesizing the analysis, research and improvement of the performance measurement tools of the Internet and Ethernet network, and on the basis of the selection of the measurement tools, a set of network performance measurement system under the data center environment is designed and implemented. The system adopts the method of centralized management and the structure of Client/Server separation to realize the data center environment to any node in the data center internal server and Internet. The performance of Ethernet and IB network in data center is measured.
