基于ARM9的HDMI接口设计

【摘要】:随着高清数字电视的逐渐普及,传统模拟音视频接口已无法满足如此巨大的数据传输量,同时,数字显示设备使用模拟接口时需要经过D/A转换和A/D转换两次操作,这些因素都会降低图像质量。而HDMI接口采用了TMDS最小化传输差分信号方式,其独特的编码方式和传输时序允许传送不经过压缩的全数字高清视频信号,同时包括多声道音频和多种控制数据,有效克服了传统模拟显示的缺陷。因此,HDMI接口设备的研制具有十分重要的实用意义。 本文首先综合比较了几种常见的模拟和数据音视频接口的特点,简要总结了HDMI接口的发展现状,明确了HDMI接口设备的研究意义和功能定位;在深入研究HDMI规范的基础上,总结了HDMI的性能特点,对其采用的TMDS信号传输原理、HDMI信号操作模式和编解码方法做了详细的介绍,并简要介绍了HDMI接口支持的视频信号类型以及HDCP认证加密等特性。 结合HDMI接口设备的功能要求,本文采用基于ARM920T内核的S3C2440微处理器作为主控芯片,S3C2440通过ⅡC接口控制HDMI发送控制芯片AD9889B的工作方式,并将LCD控制器的输出接口与AD9889B的视频输入捕捉模块相连;为了增强HDMI接口的防静电和抗干扰能力,提高高频信号的完整性,AD9889B与HDMI端口之间充分考虑了电路板走线规则并加入了CM2020保护芯片。 本文根据HDMI接口的硬件结构,提出了完善的软件设计方法。当S3C2440视频源初始化完成并确认显示设备已正常连接后,AD9889B完成上电初始化和EDID信息读取操作,并配置视频的输入输出模式,此后S3C2440由NAND Flash获取测试图像并通过LCD控制器转化为标准视频格式,AD9889B自动捕捉到视频信息后将其转化为HDMI视频信号,并经过HDCP加密后送至数字显示设备上显示。 为验证HDMI接口的性能参数,本文做了大量的测试工作。本文最后对课题完成的工作进行了总结,并对系统有待改进之处进行了介绍。
[Abstract]:With the increasing popularity of high-definition digital television, the traditional analog audio and video interface can not meet such a huge amount of data transmission at the same time. When digital display devices use analog interfaces, they have to go through two operations: D- A conversion and A- / D conversion. These factors will reduce the image quality, while the HDMI interface uses TMDS minimization to transmit differential signals. Its unique coding method and transmission timing allow the transmission of uncompressed full-digital high-definition video signal, including multi-channel audio and multiple control data, effectively overcome the shortcomings of traditional analog display. The development of HDMI interface equipment is of great practical significance. In this paper, the characteristics of several common analog and data audio / video interfaces are compared, and the development status of HDMI interface is summarized briefly. The research significance and function orientation of HDMI interface devices are clarified. On the basis of in-depth study of HDMI specification, the performance characteristics of HDMI are summarized, and the principle of TMDS signal transmission and the coding and decoding methods are introduced in detail. The video signal type supported by HDMI interface and the features of HDCP authentication and encryption are briefly introduced. According to the functional requirements of HDMI interface equipment, the S3C2440 microprocessor based on ARM920T kernel is used as the main control chip in this paper.
