基于FPGA的服务器工作状态模拟测试系统设计

【摘要】:随着近年来,信息化程度的不断加深,服务器得到了更为广泛的应用,服务器的用途变的越来越多样,功能也越来越强大。而服务器研发工作一直是困难重重,相比普通的个人电脑,服务器在安全性、稳定性和可管理性上有更高的要求。为服务器配置合适的管理机制成为了服务器设计中的重点。 服务器测试工作是服务器研发的重要工作,是服务器质量的直接保证。服务器测试有涉及方面多、测试结果要求高、测试过程繁琐等特点,这导致服务器测试占用了整个研发的大部分资源。如何优化测试过程成了当今服务器研发中的一大难题。 本设计是关于服务器工作状态的模拟测试系统研发,提出了种用可编程逻辑器件搭载硬件平台,模拟服务器工作状态的测试系统。通过构建完整的服务器框架,尽可能逼真地再现服务器的安全性、稳定性和可管理性上的优势,为系统测试提供良好的环境,同时在系统上设置LED灯和调试开关,以直观、形象的方式展示服务器的实时工作状态。设计制作完成后,本文将对其中的高速内存信号进行信号完整性分析,对设计不合理的地方提出改进并进行验证,保证内存信号的质量。此外还安排了本设计的测试工作,包括功能测试和逻辑测试两个部分,验证本设计的正确性。 本设计中用可编程逻辑器件搭载服务器工作平台的方式,实现了模拟服务器测试的完整系统。比较传统的服务器测试方法,本设计提出了一种在验证服务器功能时无需改变硬件电路,只需修改代码就可以配置服务器的不同工作状态的方法,为节约测试工作资源提出了新的思路。而通过利用LED灯显示服务器工作状态和调试开关改变服务器工作状态的方法,也简化了服务器测试的流程。
[Abstract]:With the deepening of information technology in recent years, the server has been more and more widely used, the use of the server has become more and more diverse, and the functions of the server have become more and more powerful, and the research and development of the server has been difficult. Compared with the ordinary personal computer, the server has higher requirements in security, stability and manageability. It has become a key point in the server design to configure the appropriate management mechanism for the server. Server testing is an important work of server research and development, it is a direct guarantee of server quality. Server testing involves many aspects, the test results are demanding, the test process is cumbersome and so on. As a result, server testing takes up most of the research and development resources. How to optimize the testing process has become a major problem in server research and development. This design is about the server working state simulation test system research and development, proposed a programmable logic device to carry the hardware platform. Simulation of the server working state of the test system. Through the construction of a complete server framework, as realistic as possible to reproduce the server's security, stability and manageability advantages, for system testing to provide a good environment. At the same time, LED lights and debugging switches are set on the system to show the real-time working status of the server in an intuitive and visual manner. In this paper, the signal integrity of the high-speed memory signal is analyzed, and the design is improved and verified to ensure the quality of the memory signal. In addition, the test work of this design is arranged. It includes two parts: function test and logic test to verify the correctness of the design. This design uses the programmable logic device to carry on the server work platform, realizes the complete system of simulating the server test, compares the traditional server test method. This design proposes a method to configure the different working states of the server without changing the hardware circuit and modifying the code when validating the server function. In order to save test work resources, a new idea is put forward, and the process of server testing is simplified by using LED lamp to display the working state of the server and to change the working state of the server by debugging the switch.
