基于IOP8134x处理器的iSCSI控制器设计与实现

【摘要】:在数据存储领域,随着以太网技术的成熟,IP存储已经成为当前一个热门研究方向。而iSCSI技术是IP存储的底层存储协议,它的目的是在TCP/IP网络上实现SCSI传输。在国内,由于对磁盘阵列及iSCSI协议的研究起步较晚,取得的成果还不多,与国外相比仍有较大的差距。实现嵌入式的iSCSI磁盘阵列系统,具有十分重要的意义。 本论文以Intel公司的IOP处理器作为核心数据处理单元,配合千兆以太网控制器和SATA控制器,实现iSCSI磁盘阵列控制器。 本论文的主要研究内容包括: 对系统的整体方案进行分析和评估,从分析国内外其他公司的产品功能定义入手,完成对iSCSI控制器的系统需求的分析,对硬件设计中的关键器件进行比较和分析。 硬件实现工作。细化系统的各个组成部分,完成原理图和PCB等硬件设计工作,以及后期调试工作。 系统测试工作,包括功能测试、性能测试和稳定性测试。
[Abstract]:In the field of data storage , with the maturity of Ethernet technology , IP storage has become a popular research direction . The iSCSI technology is the underlying storage protocol of IP storage . The purpose of this is to realize SCSI transmission on TCP / IP network . At home , because the research on disk array and iSCSI protocol is still relatively late , there is still a big gap compared with foreign countries . It is of great significance to implement embedded iSCSI disk array system .
In this paper , Intel ' s IOP processor is used as the core data processing unit , which is matched with the Gigabit Ethernet controller and SATA controller to realize the iSCSI disk array controller .
The main research contents of this paper include :
This paper analyzes and evaluates the overall scheme of the system , starts with the analysis of the product function definition of other companies at home and abroad , completes the analysis of the system requirements of the iSCSI controller , and compares and analyzes the key devices in the hardware design .
Hardware implementation works . Each component of the system is refined , hardware design such as schematic diagram and PCB is completed , and later debugging work is completed .
System testing , including functional testing , performance testing , and stability testing .
