【摘要】：从一个家庭手工作坊式的印刷厂发展为一个世界闻名的出版社,伍尔夫夫妇创建的霍加斯出版社(1917—1941)不仅满足了他们创建出版社的初衷,而且对英国乃至世界现代主义文学的发展做出了卓越贡献。霍加斯出版社在艺术和商业领域的成功绝非偶然:首先,出版者选择的是自己熟悉并擅长的领域;其次,市场定位准确,以深厚的文化素养创建品牌;再次,以灵活务实的态度及时调整发行与销售策略;最后,当出版理念日益受到商业化侵蚀的时候,果断放手,坚守理想。
[Abstract]:From a family handmade printing shop to a world-famous publishing house, the Hogarth Press (1917-1941) founded by the Woolf and his wife not only satisfied their original intention of creating the publishing house. Moreover, it has made outstanding contributions to the development of modernist literature in Britain and the world. The success of Hogarth in the field of art and business is no accident: first, the publisher chooses the field that he is familiar with and good at; secondly, the market position is accurate, and the brand is created with profound cultural accomplishment. Thirdly, adjust the distribution and sales strategy in a flexible and pragmatic manner. Finally, when the concept of publishing is increasingly eroded by commercialization, let go decisively and stick to the ideal.
