道德金律、恕忠之道与儒家伦理

摘要/Abstract在西方基督教道德金律内部实质上隐含着两条相互矛盾与冲突的原则,即普遍公正原则与人际间关爱原则。在这两条原则曾在基督教伦理学中借助于超越性上帝的绝对之爱的观念达成一种和谐与平衡。随着上帝在现代的退隐,道德金律中原本存在着的两条原则间的冲突也就拱显出来,并愈演愈烈,最终导致上述两原则间的失衡。作为这一失衡的结果,人际间关爱的原则在近代伦理学的思考中被边缘化,而绝对性的普遍公正原则在道德伦理评判中占据了统治地位。从对基督教道德金律现代命运的讨论反观由孔子首先倡导的恕忠之道,,可以看出其与基督教对伦理学基础思考路向的根本不同:与基督教道德金律的神谕本质相违,孔子的恕忠之道一开始就是人间之道。它没有也不需要一个超越性上帝作为保证。由此,儒家的忠恕之道所倡导的公正就只能是相对的和具体的,而不可能是绝对的和普遍的。这样,公正观念并不与人际间关爱相冲突,反之,前者根植于后者之上。因此基督教的道德金律揭示出西方绝对律令型、规范性伦理学的本质,孔子的忠恕之道作为人间之道则彰显出儒家教化型、示范型伦理学的本色。
There are two paradoxical rules in Gold Rule of west Christianity- universal justice and interpersonal love. The two rules were since harmony by the absolute love of God. But with the disappearance of God in modern, the conflict between two rules appears and they lose their balance in final. As a result, the rule of universal justice control ethical judgment, by which we can see that the way of loyal and considerate is the way on earth from origin. It needn't the surety of transcendental God. Therefore, the justice that Confucianism advocates is only relative and concrete. The justice is based on interpersonal love, it doesn't conflict with interpersonal love. Golden Rule declares the absolute law and standard in west ethic. The way of loyal and considerate as the way on earth declares the essence of education and demonstration in ethic .
