土地伦理与土地审美：利奥波德《沙乡年鉴》研究

　　《沙乡年鉴》因“土地伦理”思想而闻名。利奥波德通过土地伦理提出人与自然共处土地共同体,他将伦理意识向土地扩展,并以共同体的“和谐、稳定和美丽”为标准判断人类行为的正误。利奥波德通过将“美丽”纳入伦理规范中,表达了与土地伦理相融合的土地审美思想,为环境保护提供了新思路。学界对《沙乡年鉴》的研究集中于土地伦理的产生过程和思想基础,贝尔德·考利科特等人指出了利奥波德土地审美对如画美学的突破,却并未深入思考土地伦理与土地审美间的相互关系。本文通过分析《沙乡年鉴》中的沙乡自然景观描写与利奥波德在美国各地的考察旅行笔记指出,利奥波德在批判吉福特·平肖功利主义环境保护的语境中提出土地伦理,揭示土地的内在价值,尤其是审美价值,使土地的生态健康成为土地伦理和土地审美的标尺,使自然体验成为实现二者的途径。本文重在讨论土地伦理和土地美学的相互关系。第一章探讨《土地伦理》《像山一样思考》《伽维兰之歌》等篇目,认为利奥波德在对美国功利主义环境保护的批判与重构中,表达了土地伦理思想,说明只保护对人类有用的物种是一种短视。利奥波德借助“食物链”、“共同体”等生态学模型呈现土地共同体的内在价值,提出土地管理、土地使用...
