【摘要】：晚清时期,政局动荡,自然灾害频繁,战乱不断,加重了人民的生存危机。这种境况即使在富庶的江南地区也不能幸免,很多灾民陷于水深火热的困境之中。伴随着国家救助能力的下降,民间慈善活动开始兴盛起来,士绅阶层成为慈善事业的主导力量,晚清杭州的丁丙就是其中的典型代表。丁丙是在晚清杭州社会具有广泛影响的人物。他集多重身份于一身,他是晚清著名的学者、藏书家、出版家、书画家,同时还是一位慈善家。当时的杭州,外有西方列强的入侵,内有清政府最大的统治危机——太平天国运动的出现。丁丙在此背景下,毅然决然的担任杭州善堂善会总董十五年,成为晚清杭州慈善事业的中心人物。本文将着重对丁丙开展的慈善公益活动及其特色和影响进行研究,不仅可以对丁丙在晚清杭州以及在推动中国慈善事业的近代化所做的贡献做出公正、客观的评价,同时对当今我国慈善事业的发展也有着积极的现实意义。全文包括绪论、正文、结语等三大部分。绪论部分主要概括了本文的选题意义、相关领域的研究现状以及存在的问题、以及本文的创新之处与不足。正文部分主要由四章组成。第一章从地域背景、家族背景和个人因素三个方面分析了丁丙结缘慈善事业的根由。根据丁丙所从事的慈善事业的类型,分为地方慈善和地方公益两个方面。第二章主要阐述了丁丙所参与的地方慈善事业,主要包括赈灾济贫、育婴留养、慈善教育。第三章主要阐述了丁丙所参与的地方公益事业,主要有重建文澜阁、兴修水利、修复名迹以及其他善举四个方面。同时通过对这两方面内容的具体阐述,试图勾勒丁丙一生从事慈善事业的历程。.第四章主要是根据时人对丁丙的记载以及与同一时期江南地区的其他慈善人物对比,总结丁丙开展慈善事业的特色所在,进而探讨丁丙在晚清杭州乃至江南慈善事业的地位与影响。结语主要从丁丙绅商这一特殊的身份分析他所从事的慈善事业。尤其是丁丙作为一名商人,在他为慈善事业投入大量金钱和精力的同时,也给他带来了荣誉和名利,这对于今天商人从事慈善事业具有一定的启示作用和借鉴意义。
[Abstract]:During the late Qing Dynasty, political instability, frequent natural disasters, and constant wars aggravated the people's survival crisis, even in the rich southern part of the Yangtze River. Many of the victims were in dire straits. With the decline of the state's ability to help, folk philanthropy began to flourish, and the gentry class became the leading force in philanthropy. Ding Pang of Hangzhou in the late Qing Dynasty was a typical representative. Ding Pang was a person with extensive influence in the society of Hangzhou in the late Qing Dynasty. He was a famous scholar, collector, publisher and painter of the late Qing Dynasty. At the same time, he was also a philanthropist. In Hangzhou at that time, there was the invasion of western powers and the emergence of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement, the largest ruling crisis of the Qing government. Under this background, Ding Pang resolutely served as the total director of the good Society of Shantang in Hangzhou for 15 years. This paper will focus on the study of the charity activities carried out by Ding Pang and their characteristics and influence. It can not only make a fair and objective evaluation of Ding's contribution in Hangzhou in the late Qing Dynasty and in promoting the modernization of Chinese philanthropy, but also have positive practical significance for the development of philanthropy in China today. The full text includes an introduction. The introduction part mainly summarizes the significance of the topic, the current research situation and the existing problems in the related fields. The main body is composed of four chapters. The first chapter is from the regional background. The family background and personal factors have analyzed the causes of the kinship charity. According to the type of charity that Ding Pang is engaged in, It is divided into two aspects: local charity and local public welfare. The second chapter mainly expounds the local charitable undertakings in which Ding Pang participates, mainly including relief for the poor, baby-rearing and charitable education. Chapter three mainly expounds the local public welfare undertakings in which Ding Pang participates. There are mainly four aspects of rebuilding Wenlan Pavilion, building water conservancy, repairing famous relics and other good deeds. At the same time, through the specific elaboration of these two aspects, Chapter .#number0#, which attempts to outline the course of Ding's life engaging in charity, is mainly based on the records of the people of the time and the comparison with other philanthropic figures in the south of the Yangtze River in the same period, and summarizes the characteristics of Ding's undertaking of charity. Then it discusses the status and influence of Ding Pang's philanthropy in Hangzhou in the late Qing Dynasty and even in the south of the Yangtze River. The conclusion mainly analyzes his philanthropy from the special identity of the gentry and the gentry, especially as a businessman. While he invested a lot of money and energy for charity, it also brought him honor and fame, which has a certain enlightenment and reference significance for today's businessmen engaged in philanthropy.
