【摘要】：正英国社会人类学教授白馥兰的专著《技术、性别、历史:重新审视帝制中国的大转型》(江苏人民出版社2017年版),从技术史出发,结合性别、历史等多个角度,对帝制中国的大转型这一宏大主题进行了重新审视,无论是题材还是史学方法上,都具有非常高的学术价值。该书作者认为:中国技术史如同其博大精深的文化内涵一样,曾令东西方的人们深为震撼。从农耕、纺织到绘图、建筑、医药甚至制笔、印刷等技术,晚期帝制时期的中国已经拥有了高超
[Abstract]:Bai Fulan, a professor of social anthropology in Britain. "Technology, gender, History: reexamining the Great Transformation of Imperial China." (Jiangsu people's Publishing House, 2017), from the perspective of technical history, combining gender, history, etc. This paper reexamines the grand theme of the great transformation of imperial China, both in terms of subject matter and historical method, which is of great academic value. The author believes that the history of Chinese technology, like its profound cultural connotations, has shocked the people of the East and the West. From farming, textile to drawing, architecture, medicine, even pen making, printing and so on, China in the late monarchical period had already possessed superb skills.
