在戒惧与谄媚之间——论晋商的政治情感

【摘要】：晋商是明清两代最为著名的商人集团,他们扎根山西,活动区域遍及全国,经济实力为世所瞩目。然而晋商所从事的主要行业诸如食盐买卖、随军贸易、金融汇兑等几乎都与国家政治权力有着密切的联系。在与权力经年累月博弈的过程中,山西商人逐渐形成了一种独特的既"媚"又"惧"的政治情感:他们一方面认同皇权统治,甘做忠臣顺民,需要权力的支持来维持其商业垄断,另一方面又害怕政治权力反噬其身。本文以中国传统政治文化的视角,结合相关历史资料深入剖析晋商的政治情感,指出传统社会政治权力对财富的全面宰制是晋商"原罪"意识产生的重要原因。
[Abstract]:Shanxi merchants were the most famous merchants group in Ming and Qing dynasties. However, Shanxi merchants engaged in major industries such as salt trading, military trade, financial exchange almost have close ties with national political power. In the process of playing games with power over the years, Shanxi businessmen gradually formed a unique political emotion, which was both "obsequious" and "afraid": on the one hand, they recognized the rule of imperial power and were willing to be loyal and obedient to the people. Power is needed to maintain its business monopoly and fear of political power. From the perspective of Chinese traditional political culture and related historical data, this paper analyzes deeply the political feelings of Shanxi merchants, and points out that the overall control of wealth by traditional social political power is an important reason for Shanxi merchants'"original sin" consciousness.
