蒲县东岳庙“地狱变”之调查与研究

【摘要】：明清以来,在全国各地的寺庙中出现了很多有关“地狱变”的壁画和塑像,可惜这类东西保存下来的不多。我们现在知道山西省临汾市蒲县东岳庙保存着较完整的“地狱变”。蒲县“地狱变”明显地区别于晚唐五代两宋时期的“地狱变”形式,有着自己很鲜明的特点。本文即对蒲县东岳庙“地狱变”作了一次较细致的调查,对相关的一部分东岳庙重修碑记进行了整理,对位于东岳庙后面地府中的“地狱变”进行了详细描述。在此基础上对东岳与地狱、东岳与十王的之间的联系进行研究。认为中国固有的“泰山治鬼”说与佛教地狱观的长期交错发展使两者都受了对方的影响。佛教的地狱在很长时间里被认为是泰山,泰山王也成了地狱的主宰者。东岳信仰和东岳庙都因佛教的地狱有了变化。而十王信仰的本土化、世俗化进程,也使其原先的内涵有了改变。十王进入东岳庙成为其本土化、世俗化完成的标志之一。
[Abstract]:Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, there have been many murals and statues about Hell change in temples all over the country. We now know that the Dongyue Temple in Pu County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province has a relatively complete "Hell change". Puxian "Hell change" is obviously different from the "Hell change" form of late Tang and Song dynasties, and has its own distinctive characteristics. This paper makes a detailed investigation on the "Hell change" of Dongyue Temple in Puxian County, arranges some related reconstructing tablets of Dongyue Temple, and describes in detail the "Hell change" which lies behind the Dongyue Temple. On this basis, the relationship between Dongyue and hell, Dongyue and ten kings is studied. It is believed that the long staggered development of the view of Hell of Buddhism and the theory of "treating ghosts in Mount Tai" in China have both been influenced by each other. For a long time the Buddhist Hell was considered Mount Tai, and the King of Mount Tai became the master of Hell. Both Dongyue's faith and the Dongyue Temple have changed as a result of Buddhism's hell. The localization and secularization of the ten kings also changed their original connotation. Ten kings entering Dongyue Temple became one of the symbols of its localization and secularization.
