【摘要】：虽然各类工具书在介绍"资本主义"概念时都直接将其表征的经济生产方式至少追溯到15、16世纪,但事实上,该词直到19世纪后半叶才零星出现在一些学者的著作和论述中间。20世纪以后,该词在社会主义革命运动广泛兴起的背景下,作为"社会主义"的对立词汇得以广泛传播,成为人们普遍使用的基本概念。作为一个政治色彩浓厚的基本概念,"资本主义"最主要的使用领域是"政治—社会"领域。除此之外,"资本主义"概念还在学术界被广为使用。极强的知识生产功能是这一基本概念的重要特性,通过储存或者统摄其他概念和其诸多的衍生形式,以及在社会实践过程中的频繁使用,"资本主义"概念的基本含义不仅得以明确,也真正转化为一个人们不假思索便可脱口而出的词汇。
