【摘要】：超大城市的治理是一个世界性难题。大卫·哈维的《巴黎城记:现代性之都的诞生》对于在理论上认识超大城市的本质特征和在实践中开展超大城市的治理均具有重要的借鉴意义。哈维在书中展现了19世纪后期资本和权力对巴黎的空间改造,从而呈现了现代性和城市性的空间面向。现代巴黎作为超大城市的代表,是城市性的集中体现,更是高度现代性的典型表征。这个空间不仅是现代性与城市性存在的场所,更是现代性及城市性本身。哈维重现了现代巴黎的形成过程,揭示了资本和现代性如何在特定的时间与地点结合在一起,以及社会关系与政治想象如何因这种结合而被启动。通过对巴黎的分析,哈维强调了超大城市作为一种空间形态所具有的意义和影响。这提醒我们不能只看到超大城市的现状和其内部存在的具体问题,还要关注超大城市这种空间形态本身的诞生及其形成过程中的动力机制。另外,对超大城市的认识与治理,也需要一个关于现代性和反思现代性的理论视角。
[Abstract]:The governance of megacities is a worldwide problem. David Harvey's the Book of Paris: the birth of the City of modernity is of great significance for the understanding of the essential characteristics of the megacities in theory and for the development of the governance of the mega-cities in practice. In his book, Harvey shows the spatial transformation of Paris by capital and power in the late 19th century, thus presenting the spatial orientation of modernity and urbanism. Modern Paris, as the representative of megacities, is a concentrated embodiment of urbanism and a typical representation of high modernity. This space is not only the place where modernity and city exist, but also modernity and city itself. Harvey recreates the formation process of modern Paris and reveals how capital and modernity are combined in a particular time and place and how social relations and political imagination are initiated by this combination. Through the analysis of Paris, Harvey emphasized the significance and influence of mega-city as a spatial form. This reminds us not only to see the present situation of megacities and the specific problems within them, but also to pay attention to the birth of the spatial form of megacities and its dynamic mechanism in the process of formation. In addition, the understanding and governance of megacities also need a theoretical perspective on modernity and reflection on modernity.
