论消费文化视域下个体身份认同的异化

【摘要】:在现代社会中,消费文化为个体提供了身份认同的有效途径,个体可以通过消费活动建构自身的身份意义,进行身份表达和个性展示。但这种个体身份认同是以商品的符号化和象征化为基础,建立在一种虚构的符号价值系统之上,个体通过"符码意义"的区分来界定自己的身份。在这种符号消费基础上建立起来的个体身份认同完全受制于商品生产背后的权力网络和话语体系构成的"他者",在知识与权力的运作下,这种权力规训很有可能由外在的"凝视"转变为个体自身的"自我凝视",使之成为一种常态的自我"异化"。
[Abstract]:In modern society, consumption culture provides an effective way for individuals to identify themselves. Individuals can construct their own identity meaning, express their identity and display their individuality through consumption activities. However, this kind of individual identity is based on the symbolization and symbolization of goods, and is based on a fictitious symbolic value system. The individual defines his identity through the distinction of "code meaning". The individual identity established on the basis of this symbol consumption is completely controlled by the power network and discourse system behind the commodity production. Under the operation of knowledge and power, the "other" is composed of the power network and the discourse system behind the commodity production. This kind of power discipline is likely to change from external "gaze" to individual "self-gaze", and make it become a normal self-"alienation".
