[Abstract]:In the 70 years since the end of World War II, great changes have taken place in global geopolitics, the most prominent manifestation of which is that the status and role of the Asia-Pacific region are constantly rising. East Asia has become the third pole of the world economy after the European Union and North America. When it comes to "Asia-Pacific geopolitics," the basic question is how to look at the situation in the Asia-Pacific region, the core of which is whether East Asia can maintain prosperity and stability. Objectively judging the situation in East Asia, A multidimensional perspective is needed. In terms of time coordinates, East Asia has gone through "hot wars" and the cold war, and some remnants remain, but the general trend is from turbulence to peace, from confrontation to cooperation, from poverty to prosperity. And it is expected to continue. In terms of space coordinates, the world is still not at peace, the wars in eastern Europe and the Middle East are reigning, the deep impact of the international financial crisis has not been eliminated, and the east is still alive.
