[Abstract]:After the second World War, American Jews made full use of all kinds of political conditions provided by American society to participate in politics actively and effectively, and made unparalleled achievements in the political field. The characteristics of American Jews' participation in politics are prominent, and they have a strong liberal tendency. In the American political field, diplomatic field, especially the Middle East policy, has produced considerable influence. The active and effective participation of American Jews in politics not only safeguarded their rights and interests, but also better integrated into American society. This paper mainly discusses the political participation of American Jews after World War II, which is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the causes of Jewish political participation in the United States, summarized into three aspects. One is the economic basis of American Jews' participation in politics, the other is the strong sense of American Jews' participation in politics, and the third is the institutional platform of American Jews' political participation. The second chapter focuses on three ways of American Jewish political participation, including personal election, Jewish interest groups and Jewish votes. The third chapter summarizes the three characteristics of American Jewish political participation. Compared with other minorities in the United States, American Jews have a strong sense of participation in politics, are positive and effective, and American Jews tend to liberalism in their political participation; they strongly support Israel. As a minority in the United States, Jews play a disproportionate role in the political field and interfere to a large extent in American foreign policy, especially in the Middle East. The American Jews, especially the Jewish lobby, even harm the national interests of the United States when it comes to the core interests of Israel and American Jews. In the long run, this idea of political participation is clearly not conducive to the development of American Jews. American Jews can play a better role in politics only by defending their own interests and harming their national interests.
