哈德良时期运输方式的改变与罗马东方领土的丧失

【摘要】：罗马皇帝哈德良在登基之初,即放弃了图拉真时期征服的东方领土,并下令从这些地区撤离。诚然,帝国战略的调整是多种因素共同作用下的结果,但是运输补给因素对帝国战略的影响,似乎并未得到足够重视。纵观罗马历史,军事补给系统是罗马帝国体系的重要组成部分,它是帝国政府执行对外扩张政策的生命线。在帕提亚战争中,用于大规模运输的水运方式,因为客观环境的改变而无法实施,罗马被迫转入昂贵且低效的陆运模式中。这种运输方式上的改变,在很大程度上影响了帝国传统战略在哈德良时期的实施。同时,鉴于其负面效应最终促使哈德良出于维护帝国稳定的目的,从图拉真时期征服的东方领土上撤离。
[Abstract]:The Roman emperor Hadrian, at the very beginning of his reign, abandoned the Eastern territories conquered during the Turajen period and ordered the evacuation of those territories. Indeed, the adjustment of imperial strategy was the result of a combination of factors. But the influence of transportation and supply on the imperial strategy did not seem to have received enough attention. Throughout Roman history, the military supply system was an important part of the Roman imperial system. It was the lifeline of the imperial government's policy of foreign expansion. In the Parthian War, the mode of water transport used for mass transportation could not be carried out because of changes in the objective environment. Rome was forced to switch to an expensive and inefficient mode of land transportation. This change in mode of transportation greatly influenced the implementation of the traditional strategy of the Empire during the Hadrian period. At the same time, In view of its negative effects, Hadrian eventually withdrew from the Eastern territories conquered during the Turajan period for the purpose of maintaining the stability of the Empire.
