美国“飞虎队”轰炸机在广西兴安县坠毁事件调查工作述评

【摘要】：1944年8月"桂柳会战"期间,美国"飞虎队"一架B-24型重型轰炸机在执行战斗任务过程中不幸坠毁于广西兴安县猫儿山山崖。1996年10月这架飞机的残骸被发现,随即中美两国对此事多次开展了调查。这种调查,既是为了还原历史真相,告慰英烈及其亲属,也是为了颂扬世界反法西斯战争中的国际援助和爱国主义精神。20世纪末,在世界政治和经济格局发生很大改变的形势下,这一工作对处于低潮的中美关系起了重要的调解作用。
[Abstract]:In August 1944, a B-24 heavy bomber of the "Flying Tigers" crashed into the Maoershan Cliff in Xingan County, Guangxi, in the course of a combat mission. The wreckage of the plane was found in October 1996. China and the United States immediately carried out investigations into this matter for a number of times. The purpose of this investigation is not only to restore the historical truth and comfort the martyrs and their relatives, but also to celebrate the spirit of international assistance and patriotism in the world's anti-fascist war at the end of the 20th century. Under the circumstances of great changes in world political and economic patterns, this work has played an important role in mediating the relations between China and the United States, which are at a low ebb.
