[Abstract]:The North Sea and Baltic Sea Trade area, formed in the 16 th century, became the main international trade center in modern Europe. The formation of these two trade zones is closely related to the development of handicraft industry and commerce in Britain and the Netherlands. The improvement of industrial technology and the development of financial industry in the two countries have changed the pattern of international trade and brought about new forms of trade. In this historical process, the British and Dutch governments have gradually become the main supporters of international trade. Their laws and policies on overseas trade and other ways of dominating overseas trade not only promote the rapid development of their overseas trade, It weakened the influence of the Hanseatic League in the region, and greatly affected the whole North Sea and the Baltic Sea region, and became an important factor in determining the trend of its trade. Starting from the 16th century, this paper discusses the basic situation of the international trade between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea Trade area, taking the main commodities and merchants as the clue. It is pointed out that during the great development of regional trade in the 16th century, with the emergence of territorial countries, the international trade in this region gradually changed from the control of major businessmen or commercial organizations to the control by the state, and reached its peak in the 17th century. Finally, after analyzing the concrete performance of the state control of foreign trade, this paper puts forward some simple opinions.
