[Abstract]:Emigration to Hawaii was an important part of the tide of emigration in modern Japan. As pioneers of Japanese immigrants, their journey into Hawaii and their integration into the local community provide a successful example for the latecomers. This paper takes Japanese immigrants from Hawaii as the research object, covering 61 years from 1885-1945, respectively, to discuss and analyze the process of Japanese immigrants entering Hawaii during the period of the Kingdom of Hawaii and the American control of Hawaii, and the living conditions of the immigrants. And the integration of Japanese immigrants and Hawaiian society in this period was explored. Japan was confronted with many domestic contradictions at the turn of the new and the old era. In the same period, the development of Hawaii's sugar industry needed cheap labor, which provided an opportunity for the migration between Japan and summer. Japan exported a large population to Hawaii during this period, making it the leading population of Hawaii in the early 20th century. However, there are many problems in the process of emigration, especially in the historical stages of the annexation of the Kingdom of Hawaii by the United States and the Pacific War. The process of Japanese immigrants and their lives in Hawaii are deeply influenced by the relationship between Japan and the United States. Despite various ethnic, national and cultural conflicts, Japanese immigrants in Hawaii have slowly taken root in Hawaii and gradually integrated into the local society.
