[Abstract]:The first Nation is a special name for the Canadian Indians and their descendants. Today, these people tend to be called first Nations to show they were the first people to come to Canada. They have their own unique history, language, cultural customs and spiritual beliefs. They are the ancient people of Canada and the people on the margins of society. After long-term contact with foreigners, they gradually lost ownership of the land they lived in. Moreover, the predatory domination of foreign peoples and their dominant culture have destroyed their political and economic structures to a considerable extent. At present, there is growing concern about the situation of the Canadian Indians, and some Indian federations, the federal government and the international community as a whole are turning their eyes to them. The introduction mainly introduces the history and development of the Indians in Canada. The first chapter focuses on the history and basic conditions of the Canadian Indians. Where they come from, how early life is, what is the current situation, and further details of their early living conditions and language development and use. The second chapter focuses on the conflict between Canadian Indians and mainstream society. On the one hand, at the beginning of the European cultural invasion, the Indians showed friendliness, tolerance and enthusiasm, and the invaders did not interfere with their lives, organizations, laws and beliefs. On the other hand, the relationship between the two has changed, conflicts and contradictions have followed, such as identity, land and education. The third is about the Canadian Indians trying to find a way to integration. From the autonomy, their own control of their own education and social contribution to the three aspects of analysis. But while both sides are trying to make their relationship and social benefits clear, given the long-standing relationship, the current trend is not flattering. In the fourth chapter, the author analyzes the relationship between different policies and the current situation in different periods of mainstream society from the problems raised in the previous chapter. The conclusion part once again analyzes and combs the discussion above.
