[Abstract]:Based on the detailed historical data of China and foreign countries, this paper systematically investigates the formation, development and running track of the American strategy of "first Germany and then Japan" during the second World War, and the strategic relationship and interaction between the strategy and China's War of Resistance against Japan. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the positive mainstream of Sino-US relations during the war and to demonstrate the actual strategic position and role of China's anti-Japanese battlefield in the world anti-fascist war. This paper divides the operation process of the American strategy of "first Germany and then Japan" and the role of the Chinese battlefield in it into four stages: the first stage, the establishment of the American strategy of "first Germany and then Japan" and the battlefield of China's resistance to Japan. From the establishment of the ABC-1 strategic plan in the spring of 1941 to the Pearl Harbor incident in December 1941. In the second stage, the adjustment of American strategy of "Germany and then Japan" and the battlefield of China's resistance to Japan began from the outbreak of the Pacific War in December 1941 to the landing of allied North Africa in November 1942. In the third stage, the preliminary implementation of the American strategy of "first Germany and then Japan" and the battlefield of China's resistance to Japan, from the Casablanca Conference in the spring of 1943 to the Tehran Conference in Cairo at the end of 1943. In the fourth stage, the completion of the strategic goal of "Germany and then Japan" in the United States and the battlefield of China's resistance to Japan, from the preparation and opening of the second battlefield in Europe around June 1944 to the Yalta Conference in the spring of 1945. The main argument of this paper is that the strategic relationship between China and the United States during the second World War is an interdependent and mutually supportive relationship. Under the guidance of the strategy of "Germany first and then Japan", the United States tried its best to assist China in the War of Resistance against Japan, and at the same time, China supported the success of the implementation of the great strategy of the United States under extremely difficult conditions. The battlefield of China's anti-Japanese resistance is a prerequisite for the smooth implementation of the great strategy of the United States. During the war, the hand in hand between China and the United States was the main factor in defeating fascism, and today, equal cooperation between China and the United States will also make important contributions to stabilizing the world situation and safeguarding world peace. Therefore, the people and leaders of China and the United States should bear in mind the historical experience of the second World War, establish close cooperative and friendly relations in the new century, and jointly create a bright future of peace for mankind.
