【摘要】： 汉代国家统一、社会安定、经济繁荣、文化生活进步。当此之时，对美好生活的向往，，对美的孜孜追求，成为汉代人的重要生活风尚；并由此促进了汉代妇女妆饰风俗的兴盛。汉代妇女十分注重美化自身，以华美的服饰、精巧的梳妆、优雅端庄的形象闻名于世。本文从以下几个部分来论述汉代妇女的妆饰风俗：引言指出对汉代妇女妆饰风俗进行研究的开拓性、迫切性和现实意义。第一部分从整体上论述汉代人对女性美的认识，包括体貌审美和服饰审美。并通过引述《汉赋》中对美女形象的描写，使人们对汉代的女性美有一个更为直观、具体的了解。第二部分记述汉代妇女发髻的形制和具有代表性的髻式及其制作方法。并分析汉代妇女发髻所体现的阶级区分。第三部分按化妆的步骤描述汉代妇女的面妆，包括典型的妆式和所使用的化妆品。并指出其所反映的社会现实。第四部分分三部分介绍汉代妇女的服饰：汉代妇女的服装形制、汉代的舞服、汉代妇女服装纹样及其文化内涵。同时指出汉代妇女服饰的时代风格。第五部分总结出汉代妇女妆饰风俗的三个特点：等级性、时代性、实用和审美的统一性。第六部分从汉代社会经济、汉代蓄妓之风和妇女精神风貌、汉代妇女地位、男性审美观和统治阶级的导向作用四个方面，全面论述了汉代妇女妆饰风俗的形成因素。结语指出汉代是中国妇女妆饰史上的奠基时期；汉代妇女妆饰风俗具有不可磨灭的历史意义。
